How is 7.2 a 3.1? How do they convert ?

Isn't 74 Percentile : Q49 out of 51. Is that still considered a low quant score?

Many people around the world don't know this but other tier-1 colleges other than IITs in India are IIIT Hyderabad, IIIT Delhi, BITS Pilani, and JNU. These colleges have research output greater than IIT Kharagpur, IIT Roorkee, and other new IITs.

Would you consider DTU/NSIT/top 3 NITs in this bucket?

If IIT Delhi == Harvard then IIIT Delhi == Carnegie Mellon University.

No, in that case, IIIT Hyderabad would be considered CMU equivalent not IIIT Delhi

New IITs are the worst and should be put in the tier-2 category.

@@TheMsnitish Your grammar just proves Dennis right. I have worked with masters students at UIUC who were from IIT madras. Very smart boys, but their communication skills are garbage. And they need to learn to be more humble.

@@marcusravi1684 lol, calm down. I was typing in a hurry. I definitely don't think typing accurate spelling correlates to high intelligence. Some are just lazy to type long and proper sentences. Some folks actually understand the main meaning of the sentence and i think smart people generally don't point out the grammatical errors in others' words. They are too occupied in their own thoughts and hence don't wanna spend time on correcting others.
