Great video. I bought a 2019 Sanger 212SL last Aug, and we finally got it dialed in this season. While I would love a Supra/Supreme/Malibu/etc., I really am thinking I will seriously pursue the longer model in their top-tier line up, the 231SL. For two main reasons, it will still fit in my standard 8' tall garage door opening. And for the money, 5,200 pounds of factory ballast and GSA, it provides an outstanding wake for surfing and costs 1/3 of the others always featured on this channel. Other reasons are I'll go from a 12 to 16 person capacity; and their zero effort Apollo tower is beefy AF...and my bimini is sooo long and provides so much shade for my passengers; something I always notice on other boats while out (their short shade covers). When are you doing an Sanger 231SL review?

Without having driven or been in 100’s of surf boats how do you determine which surfs/skis the best or which uses less gas. 22/23 ft size. Do I need ballast or not… Do we need to move people around for a better wave. Is noise really an issue? A wave is different on different sides? Neither test ride showed both waves but afterwards heard it’s a thing. Is it really hard to set up a surf wave or are the dealers lying about other manufactures? After what seems like hundreds of videos it’s all still muddy on which boat would do what I’m looking for. Now throw in different years and subtle (or not so subtle) changes in model years. The boating market needs a consumer reports of boats through the years. Analysis Paralysis has set in hard. lol.

I think the thing that matters to 99% of people looking at these boats is the price. $1000-$1500 a month for 20 years is crazy. That’s more than what we pay for our lake house.

So, like many, although I'd love to spend my time surfing and lounging, I also spend a fair bit of timing pulling kids tubing - is there any difference in boats when it comes to being a tube hauler? I would have said no, but this video has me questioning that. (Amazing content guys, keep it up!)

can you take those boats to the ocean or are those boats only for lakes and rivers?

This guy mentions his knowledge about boats and compares a track Porsche to an F-150 but when it comes to boats mentions no names at all so the comparison means absolutely nothing. He then cites examples of what the customer may look for before buying a boat such as the use but then provides zero examples of the boats he knows about to make his points credible. This video was a waste of time. Thank you
