Yup, one thing I’ve learned as I’ve gotten older- I just turned 30. Is adult friendships are different than when you are a teen. My best friend lives in a different state is married with kids, we speak about every couple months and I would say she’s definitely my best friend and someone I can see being very special to me for a long time. But we don’t share every little detail of our everyday lives because we are so far apart and don’t talk everyday and that’s okay. Anthony is a dad his priorities are gonna be different than Sebastians. That’s okay. But when I see young kids comment like “oh they are best friends I kinda giggle, I’m like nope but that’s okay. Also they are actors in front of a camera they very well could be acting. I know when Anthony is joking around I kinda see that as him putting on a character for the camera he seems like an intelligent guy who can also goof around. And uses humor to distract particularly to avoid talking spoilers;)

@@maryclark6661 Every friendship is different. I'm 32, I have friends from middle school that I talk to at least once a week. Before Covid, we would all hang out on Sundays. I made a friend at 30 on my last job. I haven't worked there in 2 years, yet we still talk twice a week. I do agree it depends on where you are in your life with children, husband, wife etc.

"Best friend" is a concept most people don't have after school, unless they live in the same town forever and never really get apart from each, which means hanging out ALL the time, which most people don't have time for. "Best friend from school" is something that might endure but it's more a nostalgia thing.

He said that they talk more than the average person, meaning they’re always texting or on the phone, they just don’t see each other that much because they travel.

I would say they are BEST friends, I don’t think their friendship can get any closer.

They also have to be protective about their friendship because they are essentially tied together work-wise now. If they over do it or exceed boundaries and the friendship suffers then the chemistry suffers and the show/movies suffer. The show literally hinges on their chemistry together.

Let me try! Because it was confusing... I think first he expressed his admiration for Anthony’s work and that he’s been in a lot of movies that he admires and he thinks that more people should know or be aware of how good of an actor Anthony is. In terms of the rest, my guess is that he’s implying that they don’t talk ALL the time to protect what they already have. (My guess is because they both have different personalities and if they were to spend too much time together they could end up having conflict). So they are protective of their friendship - and have boundaries to protect that - especially as that friendship is now tied to this franchise. But at the same time they are able to still have a good time together and laugh and spend time. I think that’s what he meant lol - But don’t take my word for it haha. I think that they aren’t as close as us fans think they are, in the sense of talking everyday and knowing everything about the other - I bet they go through months of not talking at all or they don’t necessarily share everything with each other. But I do believe they have an incredible amount of respect and admiration for each other, and they get on REALLY well when they are together and they trust and love each other.

"are you guys best friends??" how is he supposed to answer that "NO" and move on?, "actually we're close acquaintances?" not when they're on press for their buddy show, lmao. they are actors and professionals, it's highly likely they are friendly, have good rapport, etc. but they are not talking to each other every day like besties, come on.

Sorry I disagrees because its seems like every single day, you can see their relationship blossom and that despite what people are saying about them or trying to say; that they are faking or acting, it's not true. They still maintain their ,bond and are constantly putting naysers to rest. They are what the world needs right now.

Think they were already asked countless of times about this and they said they are close. They did mentioned abt texting each other. Anthony even talked abt how some actors would pretend they are friends during promo and then ghost each other when it's over. And that it's not like that with the marvel casts. ( at least with seb and chris since they were there with him and they agree. )

Yea it’s supposed to be like that. And before streaming, tv shows used to go once a week, I think it’s to increase views. People come on the platform once a week watch the show but while their there they might watch something else. As opposed to them dropping it all at once, people would binge watch and then just leave, or even cancel altogether once they watched what they wanted. And actually it had the highest streaming numbers for any release on the platform ever.

I understand what "TV used to be". I've been around long before streaming services and I watch plenty of regular TV where shows only come on once a week. The problem with Falcon and Winter Soldier and WandaVision is the format of these weekly shows is terrible. When you watch TV series on regular networks, the shows have a beginning, middle, and end. These shows don't do that. You are going from one cliff hanger episode to the next. The pacing is just awful. Take another D+ series, The Mandalorian. That series is FANTASTIC! I can't wait to watch each episode as it comes out each week. Those episodes are both standalone and tell the greater story arc. If Marvel could learn from that story telling style, it would make a lot more sense and be much more enjoyable. As for canceling platforms, I could still do that. Drop my service for a couple months, come back to binge this series and drop it again. So the argument you make doesn't fully explain why streaming channels like Disney+ are following this format. In my situation, I paid for the full year in advance and my current subscription doesn't expire until May. Which I'm not going to renew until December when The Book of Boba Fett is released. Then I will just pay month to month. So I can drop it for situations such as this.
