cats are afraid if fire, if they get too close to a lit fire or stove they'll take off... also, if you keep a coconut shell on you you can pour 10 units of brew into it from the bidon regardless of how hydrated you are instead of needing to be fully hydrated in order to sip 20 🤘 obsidian used to be finite way back but at some point started respawning again... might be by location, but definitely some spots are farmable

use a torch when you harvest ants and they wont bite you or get on you're armor

I foresee in 5 episodes he is going to look at the clay bottle - brew and wonder what it is because it doesn’t tell you the effects of it.

A lit torch will allow you to loot anthills and wasp nests with no damage. The honey dressing is kinda like the bone brew. It's good for rashes and lacerations, as well as the infections that can result from lacerations. Between them, they're the Swiss army knives of jungle medicine. Building's coming along great!

As far as I find out (were playing only story mod yet) obsidian is respawning after some time in the caves. Also because I did not see if anyone were said that: DO NOT EAT POISON FROG MEAT. Been there, done that, die.

DO NOT EAT POISON FROG MEAT. Been there, done that, got max poison, max fever, lost all sanity, was all way away of any of my safe points, had to hoof it back to base, almost died.

You can kill the stingrays with spears...decent meat from them and you get stingray stings from them.

I play on console & it's been a minute since I've played but my base is back behind the fishing camp up above the waterfall which has a small cave behind it & obsidian would respawn in there after a few in game days. The tree in front of that waterfall is a good place for a fairly consistent supply of honey too.

You have to think of the ants as like sutures. You still need bandages for abrasions from falling

Obsidian respawns at the safe location small niche cave. Excess planks make great firewood.

obsidian respawns no probs at all..........also just hold right click and press harvest on the log so you dont have to keep picking them up and moving them to chop into parts

In RL ants are OP in the jungle. They are everywhere. Bin there done that😜

the orange mushrooms on the logs, (I believe I saw one in your base), will get rid of parasites and you can make a brew with them , or just eat them. Just FYI.

Bandages might be if you have an infected wound whereas ants are just for clean lacerations? 🤷🏽‍♂️

For me the normal way to fill a container is to set it down on the table, counter, or floor and dump the fluids into that container not dip the container into the fluids "unless it's just water" and in real life ants are OP place however many you need to stich up your wound and don't bandage it or you will knock the heads off making it pointless to use the ants
