People are going to miss out in a great game. It is insane how many people try to justify their prejudice in a facade of “facts” in a game of fantasy. And by people I mean racists.

Why was this not a problem when they released Nioh? I get it bro, like using this in a corporate sense can seem slimy but my problem is people dont keep the same energy in other depictions. I dont care about "the last samurai" how are we not even gonna address current things like netflixs new show "shogun" which just came out which features a white man, John Blackthorne, an English navigator who becomes influential in Japan but this? Of course there are other Samurai stories to tell but the many other stories that have been told with white people where people are radio silent on is bothersome. If you mad about it now why were you not mad about it then?

Thank you man. There’s a whole Yasuke anime no one said anything when Afro Samurai came out or when Tom Cruise became the Last Samurai. This is just straight racism. Calling the game woke as in insult is hilarious about a franchise about fighting oppressors and freeing people🤦🏿‍♂️
