Pretty solid advice. I have seen so many students from 2 and 3rd year pick up Heavy Academic books and trying to study from them. I have been guilty of it myself. (Tried to study DBMS like that - lol doesn't work) Please use books as reference only. Most universities even write in big and bold "REFERENCE BOOKS". Please don't try to fire AK47 from day 1. You are much better of looking for concepts asked in GATE on KZfaq, GFG, etc. Not all books are made equally. There are some books that are much easier to refer to.

those books are written for foreign uni where student only have around 20 courses (including 5-6 elective) and have plenty of time to go in depth of the subject. typical btech is more that 40 subject those books are for academia and for researchers in the field

Sir you r saying 100% correct . Mere saath bhi yehi problem hota hai ... Books padhne jata hun par books me language itni hard use krte ki mujhe samaj ne bohut dikkate aati hai....

sir aap bahut mahnat kar rahe,aap kuchh students ke liye vardan ho,door-draj gaon, rural area me hai,koi unhe samajhne wala nhi, offline coaching nhi kar sakte🙏,mai aapse new juda hu.

Don't ask such questions from me 🙏🙏 I am nighter in favour nor against of any coaching Institutes..... Please check reviews of Institute on google or quora and do research for at least 2-3 days and then decide yourself BTW for such big Institutes you can easily find reviews

Sir i have not qualified gate in 20 and 21 repeat for gate 22 cse or not.i have passed Btech cse in 2020 and not placed from college.

Hi Shashank First of all plan properly about your carrier that is think about what exactly you want to do in life..... Sit back relax and think about your carrier for at least 1-2 weeks since you don't have any job in hand and you don't even qualify GATE so what exactly you want to do? Just think about it......

@@AmitKhuranaSir sir i have not completely devoted 100 percent on gate 2020 and 21.sir ghar wale advice ker rahe hae you have done a specific training on software testing or data science and go for job.suggest sir.

Sir after studying and understanding any topic should we directly jump to previous year question or any other Materials questions than previous year???????

Try to solve whatever is easy first and then jump to difficult one So if you think PYQ is tough and other material is easy then solve that first and then solve PYQ... Hope this clears your doubt......

For maths best book is BS Grewal it has lots of questions in exercise... BTW I will cover maths syllabus on KZfaq soon...... And for quant you can follow RS agarwal it has topic wise lots of questions......
