I was a real fan of wotlk pvp for the longest time for the nostalgia. Then I get to experience it once again in the last couple of years. Man, when you get 6 dispel resist on a row or you have preg blood elf with a bubble that is inmune to mass dispel you really stop missing wotlk. Also, fuck warriors.

Yeah also love the changes to rogue as well. Cheap shot DRing Kidney 👏🏽 and I think they only have 1 evasion now. Just for that alone im happy lol (im a feral main)

Yeah that stuff was straight bullshit, I left wotlk right after Ulduuar because of how unsatisfying the pvp had become. This is promising enough to make me want to come back just to do arenas and the heroics. The whole resistance system is terrible for pvp, pvp should be about precision and reactive play, not RNG resists.

I LOVE Cata arena, maybe controversial, but it's my favorite expansion. But I do play resto shaman and marks hunter 🤷‍♂

I played wow from vanilla to WOD and then returned for wotlk classic and gave DF a try. Cata is still my favourite expansion in terms of PVP. There isn't as much balance as in MOP where all classes were OP but I prefered the playstyle and the pace of Cata. Honestly my experience in MOP was awful but that was probably due to the fact that everyone I knew and my guild all quit in MOP. Dragonflight PvP is quite underrated too. There's definitely some issues specially with the amount of micro CC there's in the game but other than that I am having a blast in DF.

Looking extremely forward to cata pvp. So far every classic xpac rerelease has been super cheesy and unbalanced with new metas. Cata will still have those issues, but def more counterable and fun. Love cata pvp

Fuck it I'll say it, Cata PvP was my favorite and what I consider the best. Wrath PvP was a lot of fun but incredibly fast paced, TBC was pretty good but too slow paced. Cata is the perfect in between of not too fast not too slow, it was incredibly enjoyable for me as a Disc main.

If i remember correctly he was forced to play shadow in first season of cata to get R1, and footage was in some of his movies.

@@alrightylol but you have to consider we will start on 4.3 patch not 4.0 like OG Cata. So it will be quite different.

Cata is where PvP peaked. Change my mind. After Cata is when the endless melee movement speed/gap closer creep began and mini-cc began to increase.

There is pvp gear there, but you can get like 2500 resi, and it is not enough vs 2 dps. S9 will be the most fun pvp season XD

The only thing better than cata pvp is mop pvp. I hated mop in general but i cant deny how good the pvp balance was. Cata was also a great pvp expansion because we still had 5s which was my fact bracket back in the day. Wish more people would que 5s

I feel Cata is more balanced I know the first season of cata is melee apes but toward the middle and end of cata is op asf for caster, but I’m excited because MOP classic is coming soon and everything is balanced and every spec/class is viable

Early cata arenas were decent, not the best but decent. It's 4.3 that's a complete trainwreck. Between the tentacle sword, mage lendary ,rogue legendary ... pvp became a "how many broken pve items can your comp abuse ?". 4.3 cata pvp 3s is like facing smurne hpal warr every game in 2s in wotlk in terms of enjoyment and fun.
