I grew up in a Catholic family. 2 years ago I was saved and started reading the Bible more and more. I got to know God. This have been on my mind lately especially since both my parents sides are Catholics.

"Be in the scriptures", Amen brother Baruch! That is where the truth is. Unfortunately so many people want someone else to read the Bible and tell them what it says, or to rely on their pastor or the clergy to tell them. And they then get led astray by unscrupulous people. I love this ministry and Baruch and Christian, because they stand on the word of G-d and always encourage everyone to read the Bible for themselves. The word of G-d is truth. Very important message. I was a member of the Mormon church for 3 years. Baptized, baptized for dead, took a new name, wore garments, learned all the handshakes, married in the temple, prayer circles, etc. This video in MANY ways could apply to that church as well.

I just have to say this. Dr.Korman and Mr.Christian are lead by The Spirit of Truth. I had a revelation around the 36 minute mark. When you were talking the verse that says"Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name..... and so on. I have read through this many times, and never realized that this is speaking to the false prophets and teachers in the world. I believe in Gods scripture and scripture only. As well as attend a church that believes in scripture only. Yall are a blessing.

I was raised in the Catholic church baptized Catholic and had my daughters batized Catholic until I would have dreams and I don't know if it was God showing me to leave the church but I would have dreams that catholicism is not of God... People wouldn't believe me.. I remember telling a priest satan is in the church the priest didn't do anything.. I remember what Yeshua said we should not call no one father but God.. when I read the Bible for myself I saw that I was doing things Abba didn't want me to do...

I grew up in a catholic family and went to catholic school where I was taught to sing a worship song to the queen of heaven - "Mary, dear mother, we sing a hymn to thee, thou art the queen of heaven... rule us and guide us unto eternity". Years later I read the bible by myself and found out that God hates the queen of heaven. I am not catholic anymore now I'm a born again follower of Yeshua Ha'Mashiach, praise God! My family are still catholic I pray for them to get out of it.

This video is spot on! I am from the U.S. and to be honest, I never thought much about the Catholic Church as my region was basically Protestant. I knew some doctrines were different but had never really had any encounters where that was talked about so I just assumed they were Christians as well. However, all that changed when I moved to Spain in 2013. I have been living here for almost 10 years now and I have to say it was a shock really digging into Catholic doctrine and seeing their traditions. Things like the processions at Easter time (they parade around an extravagant Virgin Mary with very solemn music) gave me the impression of something demonic rather than something holy. I watched it for a little while and then left because I couldn’t handle it anymore. Also, seeing the way people kissed statues of saints and left them gifts just all seemed so superstitious and crazy. I thought those were things of the past that only happened in movies that were set 100’s of years ago. But, unfortunately, it is a sad reality in super Catholic countries like Spain. The next shocker for me was the persecution. When I began attending the church that I still attend to this day (and here I want to make a note about how RARE it is to find a Protestant church with SPANISH people because Spaniards think they are all heretics because they aren’t part of the Catholic church), the Spanish people would tell me how their families had ostracized them and basically told them they wouldn’t go to heaven because they had left the Holy Mother Catholic church. I was completely shocked. I could go on with all kinds of horror stories (making children in school clean the bathrooms because they didn’t attend Mass with the rest of the school, etc.). I thought, well maybe this is something with the Spanish people and their culture and customs but soon found out, that treatment is for all Protestants regardless of your country of origin. I have received various types of discrimination in several school where I worked. If I belonged to another religion, such as Islam for example, the Spanish people would have been very TOLERANT and allowed me to do as I pleased because they respected my beliefs; however, because I was Protestant, that meant discrimination. I say all this to show the reality of living in a Catholic country but I must also say that they need the Gospel just as much as any other country and I use every opportunity I have to share my faith and my testimony but it is very difficult because people are so AFRAID to leave behind their traditions because of their long history of persecution and inquisition (research the Spanish Inquisition). But Jesus said in Mark 7:13 that the word of God is invalidated by the traditions of men. I want to share what I experienced with one person in particular with whom I had many conversations. What stands out the most to me is how the VERY Catholic person was constantly INVALIDATING the work of the cross because they refused to want to understand what Scripture says. We talked about purgatory, we talked about the continual sacrifice of Jesus, the list goes on. No matter how many times we went to Scripture, no matter how many times I explained, the person DID NOT want to accept the truth that by believing in purgatory, they are saying that Jesus’ work on the cross WAS NOT SUFFICIENT! When it says in Hebrews as you mentioned in the video that Jesus was sacrificed one time and that was enough, how can anyone ever say Jesus needs to be sacrificed EVERY day?? It is demonic and a direct attack on Jesus’ work on Calvary which was sufficient and does not need to be repeated! So, my message to North Americans that don’t know what Spain is like and don’t know the Catholic doctrines is that Spain is a country that is completely blinded by the devil and follows their traditions which go directly against the work of Jesus on the cross and if anyone dare say so, there are a heretic. That is the reality of living in a Catholic country.

Thank you for this video. As a young girl, my parents took me to Catholic Church as this was their religion. I never felt comfortable there as they never opened a Bible to learn from, it was always scripted. I also find it disturbing that the Catholic Church keeps Our Savior on the cross when indeed He is alive and sitting in glory in the Heavens. My wife is catholic. I try to share the gospel and show the false doctrines of Catholicism. But she is still hostile towards this. Please pray for my wife to open her heart to the truth.

Once again, an excellent exposition of truth. The main problem with the followers of Catholism is that they go by what they are taught in Catechism and don't study scripture for themselves, and they are so blinded by their erroneous traditions that even when they are taught the truth they still don't see the error of their beliefs. Their understanding is veiled by the Catholic teachings.

Can you do a video on this for Orthodox sometime in the future? It would be an extreme blessing. Orthodox seem to have similar beliefs just not under the pope authority. And Orthodox are very dominant on saying it’s the one and only true church and looking down on and condemning anyone that’s not in the Orthodox Church.

If a catholic is truly saved how can they join in with Mary worship. Take part in the sacraments. Kneeling and worshiping idols. No truly born again believer could stay in the catholic church.

Yes what you are saying is true as I went to Catholic school and in they did teach at one time about limbo that any baby who wasn't christened and died they would go to a place called limbo and it was a place they would stay crying for ever ,which i stopped wanting to know God , confirmation we had to choose saints names by reading about them and we were to be like them which is so wrong as when my eyes were opened the only one to follow was Jesus/Yeshua and pray to God the Father not to Mary .

Growing up in South Texas mostly catholic. I really remember that people that were Catholic would really believe they where better the everyone else even the Jewish people. I am talking about back 60s and 70s. I remember having some families wouldn't even let kids play with children that weren't Catholic. Just my life Experience growing up around a lot of catholics.

One is not saved by being Catholic, Baptist, Presbyterian, or Methodist. Salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone (John 14:6; Ephesians 2:8-9). There is likely no denomination or division of the Christian faith in which every member truly has personally trusted in Christ as Savior. Further, there are well over one billion Roman Catholics in the world. Among those adherents, there is a significant amount of latitude in beliefs and practices. Roman Catholics in the United States do not have identical beliefs and practices as Roman Catholics in Italy. Catholics in Latin America are not the mirror images of Catholics in Africa. While the Roman Catholic hierarchy advances the notion that all Roman Catholics hold to the same beliefs and observe the same practices, this is definitely not the case. The diversity within Catholicism is another reason why the question “are Catholics saved?” cannot be answered absolutely. If we change the question to be more specific, however, we can have a definite answer: “are Catholics who adhere to official Roman Catholic beliefs and practices saved?” The answer to this question is “no.” Why? Yeshua died once and for all on the cross for all sinners who seek His salvation. It is done. Psalm 22. The last supper (or passover) commemoration of his death in the Mass, to me, should be seen as a testimony, outside time and place, in a fully real remembrance of this devine and singular sacrifice. The mass should not be seen as repeated sacrifices but rather as a 3-D looking glass into this single and complete sacrifice of Yeshua on the cross. Yeshua bears the wounds of his crucifixion now as an inherent part of his nature, the slaughter lamb sitting on His heavenly throne. Blessed be God forever.

Yeshua had to be a descendant of Kind David, if Yosef was not the father, Miriam had to be his Yeshua’s mother. Miriam was a descendant of David’s lineage. The Bible refers to Miriam as Yeshua’s mother. Sorry, but you are contradicting yourself and your answer is not persuasive.
