Domi, I think that the point was to ADD the air units to your army, instead of replacing the army with air units.

Vees are the backbone of every USA. Still commanches can be OP when used correctly, ofcourse they're not going to work when you park them on top of anti air, atleast fly around and avoid it. They would've been showcased better if you use them in coordination with your vees against buggies/overlords, or to dozer hunt or kill vital buildings or eco. Same thing could have happened if you had helixes instead, and helixes aren't bad units either. In my opinion they're a later unit when you've already built eco. I think people want you to diversify instead of having a plain vee army. Like at the beginning, if you had a stealth fighter with a vee army, you could force gla to fargo-pop infront of your vees.

purple definitely very suspicious with the perfectly timed "x" press when you sent your stealth helis to the bunched up group.

when you went to take that first fight you needed to micro the comanches to hit each quad and you would have easily beat the first army and cleared war factories before he could get quad numbers up.

Domi, I think Legionnaire posted the “pro rules” for zero hour. If you google zero hour pro rules it popes up first and on their it’s listed that afg can’t use carpet until level 3. Don’t know if it’s considered official, but I think that’s where people are getting that from

Domi, you should do a challenge where it's a FFA situation, you have to let your opponent think that they destroyed your base, and then totally sideswipe them with a secret army/secondary base.

If you remember, you did a cast of a FFA game with Shaye, size, etc, and Marakar was using commanche in the 1v1v1v1 against Red on the right side, and he was absolutely dominating him with them.

Comanches are a support unit. They can be good in FFAs but they need backup from vees

Use comanchies vees and king raptors combined, the vee comanchie combo is amazing..

I personally think of Comanche as a support unit to combine with Vs, like baiting a pop, or just hit the enemy from other side at when they bring all of their army to your ground-based assualt.

may you do a video of only air units (no combat chinook) of ffa? would be intresting if you will use all of the air units at ones.

I'd like to see someone mow over other bases with a bunch of Emperor's using Tank. Of course you'll still want to have air support and some other types of ground units, but the main focus to be pumping out Emperor's.

Ur absolutely right a pure air army will prolly lose way more often. But tbf i think if youd have delayed strat and 2nd eco, and attacked with some raps along with commanches, maybe a bunker buster for tunnel pops and the tower, you could have beaten purple in 1-2 pushes. I dont think you could have afforded all that with a combat nook too, but that would have caused devastation if u push into other parts of the base to distract as well. But then orange runs you over after seeing you on 2 spots because 2nd eco is delayed. Hindsight 20-20 tho

If you're going Comanches maybe going Bombardment or even Hold the Line might be better for them for more damage or survivability, since range doesn't matter as much to them when they restealth almost instantly

U're good at ground vehicles, but not good enough for aircraft.. U need more organizing & optimalizing for use complete elements to attack the enemies, U don't need to build much humvees contain with tank hunters U're so in late condition for hiring some snipers, which is they can be carried on Humvees & Combat Chinook, and at half of this game u not yet strike with comanches. U must try this beautiful strike method, by combining some elements : 1. Humvees, each come with 3-4 RPG + 1-2 Sniper 2. Combat Chinooks, each come with 8 RPGs + 2 Snipers 3. Lot of Comanches Of course, Stealth Comanches & Combat Chinooks are my favorites stuff & fun to drive for sweeping the battlefield 😊

in all my tests ive found that Bombardment is best for commanches and raptors.generally for all air units S&D isnt as good.With Bombardment you can one shot tomahawks or any long range tank with Stealth figters which is very good and effective in fights especially if youre Airforce general

Its a mistake of the developers. Aircrafts are always better than vehicles and tanks in practice. So in the game the aircrafts should be faster, and do more damage. In the game they just don’t have firepower. Its not worth investing in it. Using aircrafts was my favorite thing in Generals, but rather than giving it an advantage, like in real life, it actually weakens you….

Is Search and Destroy really the best strat for Comanches? You have mobility and stealth. I'd think armor or probably firepower is better. Not that it would have made a huge difference. But think about it a minute.

My Turkish kardesh had to listen to orange. I feel a bit sorry for orange bc he did the right things and gave proper calls but noone listened to him.

Don't think any number of Commanches would have made much of a difference. The major threats had good AAA traveling with their armies.

You used your commanches in the same way you always use your Vees, attacking defenses head on.

Humvee games are just very boring to watch, I think that's why people might have been asking you to use more airpower when air general. I usually skip over USA games for that reason. Air General should in theory be a bit more interesting to watch though.
