Huge question... I play a 70g shaft in my driver at 44.5 a 80g shaft in my 3 wood at 42 I plan on adding a 5 wood at 41.5 , should I use the same shaft as I have in my 3 wood?

I often use a "visual oscillation" approach to make sure a driver shaft flexes only in the swing plane. This approach works well with my Callaway line since their shaft adjustments do not require turning the shaft to change loft. Why don't the shaft manufacturers provide this "puring" service, and is their any real difference between me watching for the perfect flex plane and the expensive "puring" offered by others?

Yo Keenan, what would be flex in a shaft if installed for 3w and not tipped 1/2’? (Ex- 60g 5.5 not tipped for 3w, only butt trimmed to ‘std’ playing length). Would it be really soft and be on the Sr or Ladies flex range?

Depends on the certain shaft to some extent. It wouldn't play overly soft at only only .5" difference. About 1/3 a flex difference in the tip section. It would basically be a 5.5 shaft everywhere else and then 1/3 flex softer 5.5 shaft in the tip section. Almost like a soft stepped version for a wood shaft!

Tuning and any other differences between the S200, S300, and S400 aside from the obvious weight differences.

That video should be coming soon! Has been shot and is being edited. Will answer real quick for you though. S200,300 & 400 are all the same design, just a weight sorting process. With this, technically S400 is a little stiffer (since it is heavier) than S300, which is a little stiffer (since it is heavier) than S200. Stiffness increase only comes from weight though.

What is going on with Project X LZ graphite iron shafts? Have they been dropped?

We essentially dropped them early last year but Mizuno kept them on for a little longer. So all that is left out in the marketplace is what is left of them.

what is the difference with wood shafts that have a specific fairway model that is different than the std driver shaft?

Depends on the manufacturer. Can only speak for us and we do that with our ACCRA brand. For ACCRA, in some lines, we offer driver and fairway shafts to fitters and through DyMatch technology, this allows us to offer the same profile in a 46" driver shaft and 44" fairway shaft so they don't have to tip any extra in their fairway wood vs. the driver.

Thanks! I've seen manufacturer specs different between driver and faiway wood shafts of the same model which doesn't make sense to me. BTW, love the honest response of "maybe" in the video as it really does depend on components. Superb job on these videos, I've watched all of them.
