It's a night cap, because his head is cold. At my old church the priest always wore a beanie in autumn & spring plus a second beanie in winter and a little skull cap when saying mass because he always felt like his head was cold without any hair (didn't help that he grew up in Spain and our winters are little colder here).

I never usually play with elders, i always dread when my sims age into elders but this video gave me some game ideas! You should definitely play with this couple again, they were cute!

I had a sim win the lottery once, and it was actually perfect as it was right at the end of a playthrough of the vet career. She was a really sweet, shy transwoman who had moved to Brindleton Bay with her best friend, her pet dog, to start her own practice, and worked her way through building it up. She'd met a nice man and was planning her wedding when she won, so they were able to buy a massive house and adopt a couple of kids. Honestly a fairytale ending, it worked out beautifully.

Yes I love get together ❤ I make clubs for my occult sims vampire’s and witches covens wolves and my royal family with the royalty mod and sims I want to hang out at the same time it’s actually very helpful getting sims to do what you want

I play Sims 3, but in it I made a retirement home and created elders with quirky traits: one hot-headed and mean-spirited, one flirty and party animal, one unstable, etc. I mostly put them in high free-will and watched what they did. It was hilarious.

I think elders may have a purpose now in a family situation, if the son or daughter having gotten married moved out and is now with their sim mate and are having children.. then its nice to have the grand parents come over for a few days or so to help out around the house and to help take care of their new grand kids, maybe they can help teach them things and help feed and change diapers, give baths, those sorts of things..

I do enjoy playing with the elders, mine are always full of spunk, senses of humor and active. I wish Sims would stop them from always acting as if they're in pain. It would be great for them to take a vitamin enjoy their days, share their knowledge and have a lot of friends. I don't play with aging on while playing the elders. It's time for them to enjoy life, travel and have fun with each other and family. My opinion.. ❤

The first time I played with the new pack was as an elder couple. I gave them friends and hobbies such as playing cards, fishing, painting or gardening. During the weekend I planned for the grandkids to stay over and it was so cute. I also gave them a dog so they had a good reason to go on walks or to the park... They passed away, but I really enjoyed while it lasted.

Using mccc, I usually extend the middle-aged adult lifestage to be much longer than usual (about 30-35 lifespan years). And turn their hair gray in the CAS as soon as their eldest child reaches the young adulthood. Just to resemble the old yet healthy grandparents.

I do play with just elders. Usually when I age my sims up to elder age, I stick them into an old folks home. Sometimes I play with them before they die off, but occasionally I forget about them lol.

I’ve always played with elders. I think too often they are passed up as boring. Although I do agree that even the developers tend to leave them out and miss opportunities to make them more gameplay friendly.

I just recently created the Golden Girls for elder gameplay. I only wish there were some elder aspirations, bucket list for example! Get together is great for all ages. I use it a lot for kids clubs and teens too.

The power waling should have been tuned to work on treadmills too! But I don't think walking sticks should be stuck to elders. I would say teen and up for some mobility aid rep.

A little advice. A smoke alarm has to be placed at least eighteen inch away from any surface, like the corner of a room. Especially a heat source, like the oven. This smoke alarm would only last a few seconds, being this close to the source of the fire that is out of control. Just some real-life advice that Whiny and other KZfaqrs usually like to bring to this game. I know that Maxis would never come up with this. They do the bare minimum when it comes to doing proper research. Major LOL. 😂

The atmosphere in the video is perfect! I have even wanted to be an elderly Lady to have power walks and gossip with besties. I would knit a weird clothes for pets and veils as well. But I don't want to loss my precious time with grandchildren😅 I'm going to hang out in my retirement.

there's some new talking interactions with elders that do remind me of the 'better elders mod!' mainly the giving advice or teaching about love and responsibility i think they give to teen sims and up

There's also the charisma skill to contend with. A low charisma skill will slow down the relationship growth. If these two had a higher level in charisma, this might be more doable. I love Whiny's what ifs. But she misses a lot of factors. Like certain skills. When she does her genealogy tests, she speeds up the pregnancies. When she does this, it runs the risk of the unstable programming that this game has to change the result. If Whiny allows the pregnancy to happen naturally, it could change the result. Makes me wonder, but I don't think that Whiny has the patience. Major LOL.

I recently played with old people and they had science babies and then died when the older two were children and the 3 younger were babies and toddlers. Well, surprisingly one older child and the babies and toddler stayed in the home but one of the older children disappeared. They showed up in the genealogy but I couldn’t find them anywhere! I had a family member move in to take care of the other children but they couldn’t even adopt the missing child. I was so sad that I couldn’t find him! 😢

i need to try and make my elders happy like this. i never play with them, in fact, when i see one, i usually age them down to young adult again so i dont have to hear they died lmao. yes i cheat! i also started aging the paparazzi down to toddlers.... thats been a fun thing to watch.... little tiny toddlers trying to take pics of me lmao... they disappear at the end of the shift a new one shows up the next day HAHHAHAH NEW TODDLER!! yes i am weird

This was really cute but FYI: elders do the exact same things at other adults do. The whole "knitting ,rocking chair, card game night" thing is pretty ageist so I'm glad EA didn't go there. Cute video though.
