Reaper imo is much more customizable. Reaper 10 years ago is not what it is today. It’s $60. It’s a small file size so you can carry the whole DAW around with you on a thumb drive. I can’t say anything bad about studio one. It’s nice. But I personally like Reason. It fits my needs. @@Echo-nn8dt

I’m using the T8Vs for my reference monitors (started last year doing audio) I do live sound engineering for a living, and I’ve been in studios just to hang out and heard different speakers…. Adam Audio is a beast, it’s so accurate even in the lower end models (T8V)…. For me pairing thise with the T10 sub it’s amazing, I’m getting a clear representation of the audio spectrum and my mixes are clean, and the room I’m in is not acoustically treated. I’m using Logic, all plugins are stock (I’m not investing money into this side of engineering until I get better first) and I must say for someone that started last year my mixes sound good. So when people ask me how you get it to sound like that I tell them I approach it the same way I approach live sound because that’s all I know at the moment. Two completely different worlds but I’m using what I have at my disposal. 🤷🏾‍♂️

@ 21:05 i love the description of this because every producer and or artist get the though that they need to be in a Real studio or get a real studio to make the sound better not knowing some known popular songs have been done without a professional studio. I feel people saying or thinking that are less bold and 2nd guess themselves on how they process their own production that truth proved otherwise. @23:12 is true I find myself doing mono and I'm 100 percent sure your hearing things in mono that you don't in Stereo when adjusting levels and mixing with EQ'ing its effective cause you could hear from the low end to the high end sound spectrum you could hear when somethings clashing. Yall guys or hitting Nails with the conversations the accuracy and comparison is too spot on. Keep going Yall got a thing going and yall on fire with it.

This plus the fact that the vast majority of people don't have proper stereos these days, but rather have small Bluetooth speakers, listen on phones, or off computer speakers is why I'm of the opinion that we should all be making our mixes mono. Your intention for a sound to impart a certain amount of energy via making it wide in the stereo gets completely missed by most listeners these days due to this.

IN STUDIO ONE, YOU CAN TRANSPOSE AND TUNEANY AUDIO REGION WITHOUT A PLUGIN. ALSO S1ALREADY HAD INTEGRATION WITH MELODYNE FOR YEARS. PRO TOLLS IS LATE TO THE GAME. LOGIC PRO HAS STOCK PITCH CORRECTION PLUGIN BUILT IN TO THE DAW ALSO.
