Thanks to your school, I was able and confident enough to come up with an herbal blend to put in my dog's food and it's helping to heal her hot spots. They're actually healing now because she's leaving it alone. Thank you so much, Doc!!

Are there any books regarding natural animal keeping, etc.? We may not always have KZfaq. I want to have some hard copies on hand.

We need a special series for people who have dogs, rabbits, chickens, cats, ducks, etc. It would be awesome. Perhaps a pdf booklet we can purchase and download to print.

I work at a farmed animal sanctuary and we have quite a few geriatric and sick animals. I’ve been doing amateur herbalism for the past year or two and would love to apply my skills and preparations to help my animal friends! You should write a book on animal herbalism!!!

Papaya, pumpkin seeds, carrots, wormwood, garlic, are some great things to give to dogs for worms. If you give them natural foods listed on a regular basis you wont harm them.

This information is so helpful! I was wondering if you could make a video that may little less on the herbal side and heavier on the veterinary side. Multiple times over the past few years we have been unable to purchase our dog food. We go to the store and it just simply isn’t there. We live in a fairly remote area, so even with driving an hour there are only a couple of stores to try. Could you please share some tips for feeding a dog when kibble isn’t an option? Specifically if there is anything to avoid, and items people could produce themselves. I can’t grow rice in our far northern climate. Ours already gets eggs frequently, and food like mashed potato scrapings, carrots, peas, and squash. Thank you for all of the wonderful videos!

I would be interested as well. I know that they do well with more proteins than what kibble gives them. But with food prices being what they are (and only getting worse) - what are we to do? I don't believe in feeding our pets better than what I can afford for ourself
@lauracorbin2882 ай бұрын
@@DutchAlaskagirl Hi - I started cooking for my dog last summer to try to heal seasonal allergies and extreme scratching and chewing of his paws. I follow a formula that is similar to Farmers Dog food that you can order and have shipped. all of his hotspots and allergies cleared up within 3 weeks - whereas he got worse while on apopquel - a very expensive allergy drug. I also add 2 beef liver organ supplement pills (which I also take every day) and he gets an all natural allergy chew from Pet Honesty. his fur is so healthy and he has great energy. I can share more info on the specifics of his food if you are interested.

Hi Dr Patrick. Just added your channel. Your herbal pain video popped up in my KZfaq algorithm. I was blown away with your presentation, especially talking about topically using tinctures to potentially offset pharmaceutical interactions. I really appreciate that advisement. Well anyway, needless to say I am a hot mess and would like to have a consultation with my medicine list in hand, with the things I have struggled with for years (endometriosis, recently hormone imbalance, lung inflammation, back problems) Would you happen to know a good reputable person that knows herbalism in my area (Dallas Texas area)? Would like to start moving towards a holistic approach to my health and maybe get off some of these pharmaceutical meds. Your advisement is very much appreciated.

I have a chicken with wry neck. Happened almost 4 weeks ago. She has slightly improved with lots of care, vitamin E and selenium, applesauce, baby food with protein, ACV, garlic, lots of water, but still wrenches her neck then flips over and over until her head rotates back to the proper place. It’s much like vertigo. What herbs do you recommend for vertigo.

I adopted a cat n found out he has periodóntal disease. Vets want thousands of dollars to extract his teeth. I can't afford that. He acts fine eats well, but drools a lot. I wonder if I can use anything to relieve his painful teeth n heal his gums.I asked about things like ora jel etc n the vet says no.

We had a stray come to our home last summer and just paid over $1,000 to have all but four of her teeth extracted. It helped for a while, but she's back to being in pain a lot. I'm hoping to find a blend to help her. Sending love and healing to your kitty. 😻😻😻

On your webpage (especially the herbs for animals part), you say to talk with your veterinarian. I would love to see a video or blog about talking with your vet about herbs or ways to find a vet who knows about herbs? I know my vet is open to nutraceuticals, but I don't know if they could say yes or no to herbs. I have a 15 year old dog, and his organs need support.

Want to avoid a $5000+ surgery bill. She is approx. 8 year old tabby, weighing 14lbs. Yes she is fat and trying to get her to lose weight but she is not very active. Quite the boring cat, but keeps me company in the garden. ❤
