The 'rarification factor' adds to the long term accrued value aswell because after a few years, of those 100 'limited addition specials', some got used, abused and trashed, dinked and kinked, some got scrapped, others are lost and forgotten to time or rusting away in some dead guys loft etc; and if yours is still in great 'showroom condition' then its value will only increase to many times its original value given enough time.

You are spot on! Toy Machine is from the early 90's and have deep roots in skateboarding. Huff was started by Keith Hufnagel who is a respected skateboarder who sadly passed away a couple of years ago.

The best colab bikes are the old brand colabs to have a pro rider pro level signature model. Premium with a bunch of demo parts. Or vice versa. They never really made enough of them though.

I've dabbled with dragsters, 4x4s, hot rods, choppers, bobbers, I still like working on my bmx the most. I am obsessed with squeezing every bit of performance I can out of it. Plus it's way cheaper to hot rod bikes then cars.

Ive been skateboarding forever and I ride a giant gravel bike but have been wanting to get a hardtail and start mtn biking too, cutting my own trails etc. But now Im thinking I want a bmx too so I could learn on that. I think doing 180s, riding fakie etc would be easier on a bmx than leanring on a mtn bike.

I had a 1981 Schwinn King Sting Bmx Cruiser in the 90s was like $400.00 It got jacked from me.. Now it's like $3.500.00 blew my mind how much it is now a days. Custom-made bikes are well worth the price and selling parts individually is the worst thing to do..

I turned a Dimondback vortex into a Sunday. Cost me only of Sunday stickers and spaypaint. Sold it for $250.00. I did it to prove a point to my friends. I even told the person what it was and they didn't care.

Tbh the hype thing is kinda cool. I like the collector aspect of it all, but they do over price it way to much:/ but i cant complain cause i have a custom built cult dak frame, which cost way to much. Only top line parts. Its not a collab type build but i get spending tons of money on high end overpriced things like that.😂😊

My problem with this is that they're made to be moneygrabs by design, I respect a lot more a Schwinn Stingray that's all ridden and beat up because it still exists rather than having a fng bike with a supreme sticker that was made with the purpose of holding a supreme sticker.

Schwinn Scrambler enters the chat and agrees . I was working at a bike shop in 1999 and the most common question was , which bike is the best ? My reply was , it's the one that gets ridden. Then I would have to explain that yes Hoffman makes an excellent bike yet if it doesn't get ridden and a Kent from Walmart does then the Kent is better . It may not be near as good in quality yet because it gets enjoyed it becomes better than a Hoffman. I've ridden motorcycles all of my life , and I'm old . I've had probably 40 motorcycles ? None of them was a Harley. I've been ragged on alot by Harley riders . I had my $1,100 Honda Areo parked next to my buddies $18,000 dollar Harley and his wife couldn't distinguish the difference . She asked him why his bike costed so much compared to mine . He said , baby it's a Harley . He didn't buy a motorcycle, he bought a name .

I dont Necessarily mean is it higher end than the regular devotion I get that it's got a few parts that come exclusively with that huf model, but is it a good bike worth buying if I can get it for $500 ? I'd really appreciate your feedback on it before i go ahead and buy it , especially cause I can't find any review on it at all and I've searched allover for a review of this cult x huf 20" bike.. this is the only video online that even showed it

They're just regular cult match rims ,with chrome and gold colors, it looks dope as f imo and I'll probably grab it once it's on sale for under $500 ,They're online right now for $700 it's definitely a fly looking bi k e the cult x huf put out ,bit not sure it's as limited as 150 there's probably more like 500-1000 of them out there

Yes and no. Yes, because it's a unique bike, but no because most people won't give a damn. They don't understand the value of the bike and it's components. They look at a Walmart bike that cost $150 at the most and then they'll look at you bike that will be between $1,500 - $2,000 and be like, why so much, it's just a bike.

Of course its worth the money if you support the collaborating sides... and I don't see cost... I see investment! I got a Dahon Mariner D8 a few years back and that's gone up in value and if I take care of her who knows what she'll fetch...
