I bought this board. It came in black with black trucks and white wheels. I absolutely love the deck. Very stiff and has "cut outs" to reduce wheel bite. Also love that the trail kick is more subtle than any others I've seen. The trucks seem fine too. I run black 75mm Abec 11 Big Zig wheels on it and I've never had a hint of wheel bite.

Hi there! wanted to put my two cents in this one. I have the 27" version of that pennyboard, here in Spain we can find it at Decathlon stores, under their own 'Oxelo' brand. Idk if they are related. My thoughts, I have Nickel penny brand, and this one doesn't stay that behind, tbh. The quality is sweet, board's sturdiness, bearings ABEC 7, trucks fine too. I did put grip tape on mine, just saying. One important thing that I would add, the more you ride it the better and better it keeps on getting. When the wheels start to lose that outer shiny coat, boy do they glide smoothly. Same goes for the bushings, they break in and the carving gets easier and more enjoyable. And same for the bearings. Yes, you can always replace them for better ones right on the spot, but not everybody can buy Reds or similars after buying a non-penny-brand-name-board-just-to-save-a-buck. Be patient, once the grease gets out session after session, they will roll easier. Aaaaand I wrote a book of a comment LOL thank you!

I have an actual Penny Board but you left me curious on the Playshion so I got it during the Labor Day sales on Amazon. Like you I'm blown away and yeah it is different than the Penny. I like this board maybe a little more than the Penny. Thanks for your review.

Would you say the trucks are better on the penny board or the playshion board?

That board looks 'exactly' the same by those ones which are sold here in Spain by Decathlon. That being said, I have the 27" version of the board and boy do I love it. I'm a 'fake' pennyboard fanatic collector --I own 5 so far purchased online or in thrift stores, and even if I actually have a REAL Penny, is seldom ridden. Keep them coming :D Good video like always my dude.

i wear size 11 should i get an 22.5 inch for fun i’ve had a 27 inch before

Do you like to ride when traveling, or do you think you’d bring your board around in a backpack (I.e. to school or something)? If so, the 22inch is the best Board to travel/carry with and ride. It’s also faster so if you enjoy a slightly faster speed, it’s a good one to go with for that reason too. I’m a size 9.5 foot too just so you know, I’m slightly smaller foot than you but still think it’s great

I’ve honestly never tried it so I can’t say a ton! In general, if you’re considering a cheaper Penny board, the trucks, bearings and wheels are usually (slightly) lesser quality than Penny’s. However, overall, they are still a great intro into boarding & you can always change those parts out later on too

For reference, my shoe size is a 9.5 so if you’re a 5, it’s probably be solid 🤙🏼

You can! Just be careful not to get your bearings wet. I’d recommend mostly using a brush, and you can take your board apart to do a “deeper” clean too if needed

Yea you can cover your wheels with news paper or tape and use a brush or a sponge to scrub
