I agree! I have many low grade comics which I am quite happy to have.

You can get any comic graded, but some are not worth grading, these are generally coverless, missing coupons or what many people call 'readers' and on the Overstreet scale these could be a 0.5, 0.3 or 0.1 all of which a grading company would give either a 0.5 or a no grade value. for some reason they won't recognize any grade below a 0.5

I always understood the saying to mean having a low grade is better than not having the issue at all ( no grade meaning you don't own it to grade it!) - I agree having lower grade books to read story and complete runs is a fun part of collecting

Echo is rough on this one. 🫨. I always understood No Grade to refer to not having a copy of the book at all. I have some that are covers only that I still love. 🤷🏻‍♂️
