Thanks a lot for the review Mike! This was sick! We would encourage you to keep tweaking the velocities and note lengths/release knob on the chug parts to get a more realistic sound. It definitely requires a bit of tweaking just like any other MIDI instrument. Thanks again and we can’t wait to see more from you!

Seems like a great pre-pro tool, also could be great reinforcement to layer in if you have limited DI tracks for whatever reason.

My thoughts exactly. One could also give some extra contrast to the parts, making the entrance super inhuman, and then contrasting it with real performance

How do you double track midi guitars and make them stereo?

Mike was using one guitar in his demo which was why he was encountering phase issues. We have two guitar presets in Axure. You would ideally use them for guitar left and guitar right.

@@studysoundaudio 💯 I do think that humanizing midi for both sides would be beneficial for using guitar 1 and guitar 2, too!
@studysoundaudio
@studysoundaudio Ай бұрын
@@DrMikeMetal Actually we encourage that. If all else, program one guitar like normal and use the same midi for guitar 2 but offset it by a 128th note to get a better result.

Seems those vst guitar are used for low tuned stuff only.

Tbh I use it only for the low tuned stuff. To help me write which in later I learn to play the riff. It's hard to capture a good sound sometimes without the right guitar. It's been done but so many people aim for the industry standard sound and end up sounding too perfect

All the midi crap and amp sims are just tools for bedroom guitarists. So no I don't think midi guitar will be used at the same level.

Yeah, there's no way real records done with MIDI drums and/or basses and amp simulators nowadays in 2024. /s

Amp sims and bass sims have already been used in numerous professional albums, for years. I agree that the guitar sims are a way off, but I can definitely see them being used as backing guitars to help fill space in the state they're currently in
