God is amazing! In my experiences he really does prefer to guide us along a natural path, but will come through with miracles if things get really out of control I hope that he is as happy as he makes me feel! Love you God!

Yeah, that feels right. God will work with you, to help you "get over the hump" sometimes in life, but if you were actually doing what you were supposed to do, then you'd already be strong enough to get over those humps yourself.

While the Torah enjoins us to seek natural means of healing (which includes scientific medicine as well as other paths of healing), we ultimately recognize that healing comes only from the Almighty, and given the limits of medicine, it is not wrong to seek a miracle when other paths have been pursued and exhausted, or even simultaneously, with the understanding that all healing derives from God.

The problem would be to EXCLUSIVELY pursue a miracle and not natural means as well.

But our Sages teach, "We do not rely upon a miracle." In fact the Torah forbids reliance upon miracles when other means are available.

I have an unrelated question rabbi! Is there anything in the Tanach about beings that can manipulate reality or any stories of God playing with people for fun? I’ve been playing the role of Messiah son of Joseph online for fun and in my most recent video I asked God to create a face with a heart of 314 in the clouds and he did… How can I be sure it’s God?
