The investigation, later revealed how badly many of cricket players indulged themselves into Islamic activities and abondoned cricket. In my social circle, I always mention about Saeed Anwer. He got involved in Tableeghi Jamat and quit cricket. Like a cold turkey. If Rizwan, Babar and any other player like to be tableeghi or religious upto that extent. Fine. But please leave cricket and follow Saeed Anwer footsteps. You need millions from cricket but you spend your cricketing dedicated time in religious activities and if you are questioned, you turned into a thick-skinned idiot. What a Hypocrisy.

Ever since psl has been introduced, test match has died and overall pct performance has been deteriorated, fitness standards have been destroyed. Back in those days, test match performance was pretty much the bare minimum standard to be considered for white ball cricket. This sole standard ensured that pakistani players had to maintain somewhat of an adequate level of fitness in order to stay in the team. But ever since psl, things have gone south. Bhai pakistani franchise cricket league introduce karne ka bola tha, Yeh Thori Na Bola Tha Ke PSL ko Selection Committee Hi Bna Do!

It's this latest phenomenon. I have followed Pakistan cricket since Majid Khan, Intakhab Alam, Zaheer and others. I don't remember these players to indulge in religious activities on the cricket ground

My dear Sir, my humble honest opinion, (not that you don't know yet. you look a smart man) when the whole country is running on debt and mercy from other nations, you cannot expect a lot from bottom feeders. first is the prime minister who goes and collect funds (from wherever he gets), then he comes back and feed the army and of course himself and all his relatives and allies. The next is the only recognized sport in Pakistan now which is cricket (a sport in which so many youtubers earn money by blaming Pakistan and praising India. Each one of them wants Pakistan to fail everywhere so that they can make money through views coz most of the views re from India. Unless Pakistan can stand on it's own feet nothing is going to change. Religion is another factor that people make money. once a career in cricket or any other is done, next occupation is religion (of course for those who cannot speak English). people who speak English will find a way through commentary or any other means to get a career. for example, Wasim Akram, Ramiz raja can survive without religion, but others have no other choice. let me know your view on this.
