$400k used to buy a huge house here in Utah but with how stupid the market has become out here, it barely gets you a starter home nowadays which is absolutely insane

One of my best friends here in Oklahoma bought and has already sold his. There was always something wrong with it. The boat spent half the summer in the shop. Super cool looking and it got a ton of attention but not worth the price. You can get a nice diesel truck, set of jet skis, and a nice boat and have money left over…

The 2023 Centurion RI265 is a nice Wakeboat. You can control the Wake system with Paddles on the Steering Wheel, has front/rear Cameras.. really nice interior.

I'm with her with the chef ;) I know this video is a year old and it's winter now, but I'm looking forward to the comparison between this boat and the Nautique, etc. I grew up as a kid with a cottage on a lake about an hour from our home in the city. We had a 95hp Johnson outboard and THAT was a big motor back then (I'm 51 now, so do the sad, sad math, haha). There was a family on the lake that had a Nautique and I remember thinking... "I want to ski behind THAT boat" but it never happened. It was somewhat rare to see inboard motors back then. Love that you guys are loving a big hull aluminium boat. In Australia we have been building aluminium recreational fishing boats for decades because of the durability, weight distribution flexibility, ability to customise off plan and many more benifits, some shipwrights have even got the hulls performing better than traditional glass boats.

That heater system reminds me of what I put in my 69 bug when I lived in Gunnison colorado. 20 below in a bug, scraping ice from the inside of your windshield, you need all the heat you can get. Some ducting from the back to the drivers seat helped some.

I bought a center console for $12k 2006 and still have it in 2023 and boy I get the same amount of joy taking it out to the Gulf fishing and lake surfing and tubing and it produces the same waves. The Parvati is nice in all but it’s insane for the pricing even the lowest prices of $200k is straight outta your mind.

Not a single second of this video made me want to trade in my G23 for a Pavatti! 400k and it don’t have preset wake settings for wakeboard and surf?! 400k and the stern thrusters aren’t integrated into the steering or speed control into the main screen?! 5 years of Nautique ownership and I’ve never once needed a 24/7 service rep!🤣. The only thing I really liked was the color scheme but the thought of paint over gel makes me cringe.

Looks like a nice boat. If you compare the surf/wake settings on the Nautique Paragon it doesn’t compare. The paragon will allow to fine tune the shape of the wake etc from the display. Largest wake in the industry. A video on one would be sick. Love the channel

The first thing I noticed at 3:27 is the rear axle on the trailer. The fender wheel opening does not match the tire or is the axle misaligned? Either way I would expect more for $400K!!

Hey Dave. I bought the black & red AL26 from Brody early part of '20. I love my boat and it is bad ass. Only thing is the electrical problems I have had. Although I may have found it when winterizing last week with Nick the starter battery was missing a wire. Turns out the ground from the huge battery on the left wasn't hooked up. Hoping that will resolve a lot of my issues. As far a driving, wake, etc. it is everything you pointed out on the video. Sure would like to talk to you. I have been thinking about pulling the wrap off and getting it painted. I'm 100% convinced Oh & by the way, this is John Fayette not Laura.

The idea of the metal hull and extra plating isn’t to keep you from having to anchor, its to keep it from getting damaged and the ability to pull up sliding on rocks, rock, rough bottom without tearing up your boat! Remember metal doesn’t slide over sand! We learned that thanks to Cleetus new lil jet boat named lil squirt

I commented too early. After watching your full explanation the technology is impressive! My wife just reminded me of the Mastercraft 300 I bought it 2009/10, it was 30’ but would not go in shallow waters/beach your in. So the versatility of that Pavati is cool. The difference is, the 300 has a cabin and two berths… back in the day it was tech advanced but your Pavati blows it away. I would totally buy a Pavati to cruise around in. It’s a very nice boat with a cool hull design. With inflation, if I bought any of my race boats today they would probably be 600k+ so it’s all relative.

My experience finding someone willing to work on anything high end and rare can be VERY expensive and frustrating. But someone with the money to pay 400 thousand for a boat isn't concerned with maintenance costs.

I've heard they are more show than go since the wave is garbage (it is a surf boat after all). Everything I saw in this video just make it seem like you're trying to make an ad for it and sell it. The damn thing doesn't even have board racks installed. The platform sinking is a design flaw as most modern wake boats have the platform above the water when empty so that it's even when loaded out. Not a fan of the gate system. They should be using trim tabs that can also aid in drivability. The steep wake is nothing more than a heavy boat that's incorrectly setup for surfing. Nice looking boat, but they don't have the experience yet of the other large brands and I can tell.

Hey Heavy D, please in you’re next PAVATI part 2 do a night show on the lighting. This video does no justice for the features on that boat! Also it sucks you don’t have a new PAVATI to make a video on.. the 22” screen. the push button foot wash at the bow of the boat. the absolute insane sound system, and not to forget about the led stripper pole. For the 11+ months I’ve worked at pavati I’ve never been so happy to work for a company in my life. Chucks one bad ass dude to work for. Can’t wait to see you’re boat come through Dave. Its gonna be gangster.

They look awesome & the fact that they are expensive makes me want one that much more. If maintained properly the aluminum hull will last forever which means your kids can enjoy it long after you are gone.

I could never afford a brand new Pavati boat but, I will still be happy with a paid in full used wakeboard boat that costs 22 to 34 grand and put down 10 to 25 grand in upgrades and repairs down the road. No payments or debt but pimping it out a piecemeal at a time is so satisfying.

I think for 400k they should probably have automatic hull plugs with some sort of redundancy so they don’t end up at the bottom of the lake. But hey, I guess that’s how you find the weak link in the chain. I am sure they will have some sort of thing worked out so that doesn’t happen again.

I really Love this Boat! But I would have to have two captain chairs for my beautiful little wife. She's the best copilot I've ever had and would want to have a nice chair for her. Driver's console just looks crowded with all those things, but this boat definitely looks nicer than most of the Pavatis I've seen. A good color paint looks way better than the weird wraps they do, since I just didn't like all the graphics on the flat metal sides. Definitely like it more, but worried a bit about the leather in the water.

Been in a Pavati many times. Great boat. That Aluminum Hull is peace of mind. Strong as fawk. Fiberglass and driftwood don't mix well.

Simple answer: No. One of the most interesting things I have learned is that those who master the art of selling overpriced things to rich people are the ones who have the most success. All luxury items (especially houses) are overpriced by ALOT. Rolls Royce is one of the biggest scams ever for example. Not knocking the company in the slightest but I would love to build a car for 30-40k in parts and engineering and sell it for 500k. Don't even get me started on luxury brand clothing and accessories. I great admire their ability to fleece someone a thousand dollars for a shirt or a handbag. That takes some serious skill.

They are sweat boats with lots of tech. But there are boats like Mastercraft and Natique that are much cheaper andhave awesome tech as well. And they out perform these boats all day long.

Pavati makes some amazing boats, hands down. However, $400k is a bit much for the features, especially for where they are located. Oregon only has about a 3-4 month sport boating time during summer. I've been on a Pavati at Lost Creek Lake. They turn heads and look and sound amazing. With that being said, you can get SIMILAR (minus a few additional extras found on Pavati's) for significantly less. Pavati / Highway Products does sell used ones for a more reasonable price. It is sad that a local company really out priced the boats to a more elite group of society. I'm a southern Oregon resident and aside from the one time, from an employee of Pavati, I have yet to see another Pavati on the water in Southern or Central Oregon. Boat or a nice house on some property? The wait list is because it's still a "small" company which doesn't mass produce, ie. maintain quality control. The company has a target audience of "people with stupid money". This is a boat you would find in Havasu or similar areas where boating is a "lifestyle". I would love to have one, but can't justify spending that much money on a boat when my house is just a little over that in cost, and I use my house all year long.

Compare a centurion ri237 to this boat, centurion has the largest surf wave on the market. Also when the ri237 has its ballast completely full it weighs 12,150 pounds in the water.

I think it would be awesome to be on a boat like that, but here in Louisiana it would have to have a rod box and live well and one hell of a trolling motor. Lol

Holy hell. I remember when they came out they were like 250k. Long term investment wise, an aluminum boat way more valuable than a glass boat but nearly half a mil for a wake boat is straight robbery.
