Plug-in hot tubs, sometimes called plug-n-play hot tubs are the kind that just plug into a standard wall outlet. They don't require an electrician to hard-wire them to a disconnect box like a traditional hot tub does.

Currently WELL under $2,500 and every hot tub from this company (Essential Hot Tubs) gets rave reviews; almost all 4 or 5 stars. Free shipping, color choices, and the ease of just plugging it in and filling it up once it's delivered!
Plug-in hot tubs are typically cheaper, and have the simplicity of just plugging into a standard 3-prong outlet, and don't require an electrician.
But they do cost a little more on your electric bill, and tend to have few jets and other water features to keep energy consumption down.
