PSU stocks have had a dream run over the last couple of years. However, the fall in markets and PSUs between 5th and 20th March has rattled investors and many want to know if PSUs have turned overvalued and if they can correct steeply from here.
In this video, we first explore the reasons for the rapid rise of PSUs. Then we look at the valuations of the Nifty PSE and Nifty PSU Bank indices against their historic medians. You can watch the video to find out the outcome.
But we don’t stop there. We go one step further and also check the valuations of 56 non-finance and 22 finance PSUs against their historical averages. We then assess the revenue and profit growth of these stocks. This helps us identify the PSUs that are expensive and that are relatively cheaper. You can use the stock lists in this video for further research.
Lastly, we answer what you should do with PSUs now. You can watch the video to find out what the conclusion is.

Hello, it is a Guaranteed Income Plan that is offered by Max Life. You can invest for up to 10 years and then get tax-free regular income for up to 30 years. The returns are tax-free (if you invest up to 5 lakh in a year) and are guaranteed for the entire 30-year duration. They are not dependent on stock market performance, and they will never get revised. You can also claim tax benefits under Section 80C on the invested amount.

Hi i am an ultra aggressive investor with time horizon of 18-20 years My mf are: Micro cap 250 index fund( motilal )(weight assignment-2) Hdfc mid cap ( weight 3) Axis small cap ( weight 3) Icici tech fund ( weight 1) Aditya birla psu (weight 1) Can anyone tell if its good or any change i can make I kinda feel like i shouldnt have picked sector fund rather should have gone for a flexi cap instead of sectoral funds any idea?

You didn't cater for the order book of these PSUs owing to large scale long term contracts by govt. It is because of these heavy and historical order book size that these PSUs will show staggering revenue growth in the near term and then these valuations would be justified

Diversify your portfolio only investing in flexi caps are not good take some large cap/ MID CAP funds some small cap some flexi cap and then go for it ...

Split in 3 parts. Quant large cap Quant mid cap Quant small cap. You will get higher returns guaranteed
