Hey everyone! Welcome back to my channel.
In today's video...
We are testing out Roger Federer's newest shoe with On. These shoes definitely look the part, but do they play well?
I go over how the shoe really feels and if I think that the price point is worth it given the current economy of tennis equipment.

for someone poor like me, I bought and play with a $20 shoe at Walmart and they are the best shoe. I have to wear soft shoe b/c of my knees and these shoes lasted for 2 years and they were the only shoes I used for tennis.

Love this take. At the end of the day, if you find a product (racket, shoes, grips, etc) that fits you, then there’s no reason to change right? If anything, you’re winning because you don’t have to spend the extra money 😅 I’m here spending money and not making any!

I remember someone with almost the exact same form at the River Hill courts several summers ago. Did you use to coach the River Hill team in the Howard County area?

The new tennis shoes now has a sock type lining that makes getting to the shoes hard to do! I return 2-3 pairs because of is from Adidas and Nike brands.😮

Nike and Adidas shoes definitely aren’t as durable as they use to be. I wish they brought back the 6 month warranty 😫

Did you ever try the ubersonic 2.0, I feel like they were a pretty popular shoe along side the vapor x. The ubersonic 3.0 were horrendous and even the pros stayed away from them; almost like how all the pros are wearing the vapor pros over the vapor 11s or vapor 2

@@lucasmew453 yes!! Ubersonic 2.0s were Goated also. I feel like nowadays they care more about the design of the shoe vs versatility. I just don’t feel the best in modern day shoes except ASICS

I have played on the first version of the shoe for the past few months and you’re not mistaken: the traction is a bit too strong. For me, that’s a huge negative and has led me to injure my ankle ligaments when attempting to slide… won’t be buying them again, but great overall shoe

That’s great point. Sometimes when I’m in the moment, I just lock in on the drill and focus. Thinking about too many extra factors can be detrimental but I also know it’s better for the audience. Will make a mental note 🫡

Man, I'm turning 37 this year.. 😂I used to be able to play 2+ hours and still could keep going. Now I can barely stay alive and upright after 1.5 hours (Texas humidity fml). I thought you were hitting fine man!

Mizuno is my go to shoe for agility. Not very forgiving to the body though! Considering only using them for tournaments. I have the exceed tour 5.

I’ve tried mizuno once and I actually really liked them! They just weren’t durable enough for me. Broke through them too fast 😫

I’m 5’7 130 pounds. I don’t think I have narrow feet. I’m just small 😅 but barricades and vapors are def narrow shoes

Hey Donnie! So my stringer told me the current weight of my racket strung and with lead tape sits around 320-325 roughly. Obviously each racket is a bit different but I have a decent amount of weight at the top

@@KevinHsiehTV thanks bro. Surprised your racket is so light for a 5.0 lol. I guess your form is good so you can play with whatever weight. At 4.0 anything lower than 325g gives me stability issues then i start swinging with my arms instead of using my bigger muscles like the legs and hip rotation, body weight transfer etc

I would actually recommend these for pickleball. They grip onto the court very well, so it would be good for the small movements
