Today's video comes from another Viewer suggestion asking for a Support Steel Video! This video showcases the strengths and weaknesses of this Hero in the Support role. Although I don't think that this is his best role, I do believe a lot of people play it wrong, or try to be too proactive for no reason. Here's how I would play a Tanky support!

I think if they implemented a movement speed penalty for ranged basics, tanks might have a better time. It's easy to get IN on people, but getting OUT just doesn't happen. After that first auto, you're more likely to just get walked down

or at least give us an item that procs movement speed slow. I know there is frost guard but it isnt enough.

@Boltbacker83 In a game vs Kira with a crit build, I took any means to counter her. Anti crit armor, Frostguard, Stonewall...it literally felt like I would purchase an item and was spending 2900+ plus gold for no survivability. By max level and build, I'm still being melted in around 7 autos, which is only about 3 seconds. PLUS it feels like people are actively diving tank supports rather than carries lately because they're too easy to just blow up and can't fight back

I don't think there's such a thing as tank in pred. Closest thing is the bruiser. Half tank half damage. ADCs and mages do entirely too much damage. Hence heros like dekker, Benicar, howitzer, argus all play support.

Agreed man. Their idea of what ADCs should be a little off. They should be powerful but not one-shot machines. I was playing yesterday as twinblast (admittedly) and Murdoch shot gunned, me followed but an auto and I was dead. Even if I was just a twinblast, why is that possible? And we were same level, so it's not like he was just fed and way ahead. We were relatively on par with one another. I got 2 shots off before he killed me.

Sevarog, Steel take a billion hits to kill. I’m an ADC main in upper Plat. I’m not sure why people say tanks aren’t tanks…if you dive the ADC and cc, they are dying just like any other MOBA. If you don’t, they’re melting you. Smite has broken tanks that eat damage but also deal way too much damage and mages can’t touch them.

They need to fix the UI for sure, because why am I only now figuring out the dot on top is for flash . I didn't even realize there was a blue dot. Feel like moving it right underneath the character portrait makes way more sense

When I told my friend about the dots, they spent a good 3 minutes trying to even find them lol. Would also be cool to get a toggle for aim assist on consoles. I've seen it pull reticles in the most ludicrous places and turn easy fights into "my reticle is on the dirt because Khaimera is circling me"

Or how about you can type on console by holding circle and then pressing up on the d-pad 🤯.
