I was amazed by the comments about Rassie. He took a team that was down an out in 2017 and in 18 months won the Rugby championship , the World Cup , won the Lions series with virtually no prep due to COVID , and could be the first team to win 4 world cups defending the crown. Farrel , a great coach sure , however got to the quarter finals of the World Cup . Fozzie has dismantled the AB aura . The French coach … quarter final exit. Rassie has to deal with a complex political situation , quotas etc . He took racism completely out of the boks setup , got the whole of SA behind the team , quotas are no longer a factor in the Bok setup as Rassie has developed stars from the non white community and hence the whole of SA now fully backs the boks. On top of all that are the unbelievable results in the World Cup. Beating one of the best French sides in their own country was immense . Beating the ABs by a record score a month ago was amazing . There is no other coach that comes close to comparison with Rassies results .

Never Underestimate "The Springboks"..!! They have incredible resilience coupled with an innate ability to Dig Just a little bit Deeper and Hold on a little bit Longer, tapping every last ounce of their formidable reserves of energy, that few can match. Also remember that each and every Springbok player knows only too well, that every time they don the hallowed "Green and Gold", they are playing for every on of 63 million odd South Africans at home and their legion of fans across the globe. Now for the first time ever, under the inspirational captaincy of the Heroic SIYA KOLISI, the Springboks are getting huge support from other African nations. That is Huge Motivation....! Rassie deserves more praise. He selected Siya as captain, something even the former black coached never had the balls to do. He picked Mampimpi, a player with no rugby school history, from a township, as the main winger. The first time ever we saw an all black front row in a world cup (Beast, Bongi, Trevor) was under Rassie. I know people will say I’m being political, but no one has ever used the demeaning word “quota” since Rassie took over because he showed everyone that we are all South Africans and rugby is not reserved for a certain race. I think he deserves an order of something by the President.

Springbok here, I’m very nervous for this one. There is so much at play when you consider who will win. Springboks have the history, the All Blacks have the pedigree. I also think NZ are better rested and that could be telling come Saturday. My gut tells me NZ - but then again, Springboks have never lost a World Cup final and this group is looking to go back to back. We’ve had two tough weeks and you just wonder whether or not we still have enough bullets in the clip to go again. My view is, we need to freshen up the team and be bold in our selections. For example, Kitshoff off the bench, not because of the hype around Ox but he hasn’t looked himself in the last two games. Either way, this will be a massive game

ABs supporter here. 5mins in this podcast i just want touch base on everyone's opinions about SA's. Yes England should of won due to the stats however from my point of view i believe SA deserve that win to sheer grit and courage in themselves. statics present facts about outcome how well did the team preform during certain sets/phases but that's the critical side of it, we must take in the account of having faith within themselves. i see it as how we got demolished by you guys before the cup and losing to Ireland. so i believe having faith is that 1% when 99% was given to the opponents guarantee to win(evening though nothing in sports guaranteed) so at this coming week it will be a great game and i pray ABs come out on top but we never underestimate SA despite the stats and what not. may the best team win. so ill continue to watch the rest cheers. The two most consistent teams in the world currently and historically. Both have lost games in the past few seasons but amazing consistency from them. I hope the game can deliver as when two powerhouses play it does not always turn out that way. Hope we see plenty of try's, lots of open running rugby and not to much kicking. This is gonna be a final for the record books, as Saffa I could not want a better final, the biggest rivalry in rugby on the biggest international stage, its been a long time coming which ever teams win they both are deserving of the title, both teams weren't put in the next to win it, both teams were seen as underdogs, but you can never count out these 2 great teams, all the best to both teams, hoping we come out tops.
