The scene is beautiful from both actresses. Honestly, it's great. The attitude of the interrogator is wonderful for this scene: "You dont know me. I know every single thing about you, and everything you know. I know everyone you know. And if you don't wanna know me, which, you don't; i suggest you speak."

the suspect is a suspect , if you try and charge someone with no proof enough that she did it your case will get thrown down the window , there are laws for a reason. explosive residue in her apartment means nothing when her husband killed himself , you cant proove she cooperated or knows of more bombs if she doesnt admit it.

Freedom of speech right is just too strong in the US. Very hard to charge people with sedition unless the said speech really resulted in the suspect and/or others engaging in subversion, terrorism or other criminal acts then that's more probable cause to charge.

"They" are real. The FBI and CIA do employ these types for these exact types of interrogations. Probably not a black woman named Veronica pretending to be a muslim born in a tent... But maybe a slight black woman named Vicky pretending to be a muslim born in a mud hut... Yea they exist. Im also pretty sure the FBI and CIA employ authentic patriots who are muslim, or women, or gays, or whoever and they use their true identity to manipulate suspects and prisoners. Thats also probably pretty true.

I think and this is an educated guess. Since it is classified as terrorism, it falls under the Patriot Act, which does allow some parts of the due process to be skipped. Particularly if the interview is being done by the CIA
