You have to read Anatomy: A Love Story! It has so many similarities as the show. Not really the humor and I don't think it had the banter like Jack and Belle. BUT it's set in the early 1800s and follows Hazel, who's from a well off family who wants to be a surgeon but obviously cant on acount of being a woman. She meets a grave digger named Jack (hehe) and he basically ends up robbing Graves so she has cadavers to practice on as she secretly trains to be a surgeon. Even the ending/drama has a lot of similarities. Definitely recommend for that Artful Dodger feel! I just finished the show a few days ago and have been dying for more stories like them. I also recommend the Wysteria Society of Lady Scoundrels, not as similar to the artful dodger but definitely has the humor, banter and slow burn

I had a lot of fun watching this!

Update: It has NOT been renewed for Season 2. I'm not sure what i saw that said that, but .... it is not true.
