The sad part is that the only reason this madden might be good is because they worked on college football for like 3 years and they’re just piggybacking off of what the developers are doing for that game. In 2 years time I guarantee these games are gonna be shit again because EA has to to make deadlines and release a game every year instead of taking time and making actual meaningful improvements on their games.

Madden needs a speed overhaul, or should I say they need a ratings overhaul. The attributes and ratings are TOO HIGH. There needs to be more of a discrepancy between the elite players and everyone else.

I agree 100% I actually make my own rosters and do this. Mid 70s is average while 90s are left for players who are Near perfect in that category.

@@Yehdits same for me. Once I buy the game I do a whole roster/rating overhaul. Like you said(and this is reality as well) Most NFL rosters are majority 70's OVR players. I venture to say 75% of a 52 man NFL roster are 70-79 overall rated players.(Madden needs to reflect that), I'd say 15% is rated 69 and below, and the other 10% are rated 80 and above, with 90's being ELITE of the ELITE. Not every team has a 90+ ovr player. (on my game I truly try to limit 90+ ovr players to only 25-30 players total.) I do the same thing for core attributes as well. For example, there are very few players in my game with 90+ speed, and there are probably 10 players with 95+ speed. You're talking about ELITE Olympic speed. Not too many of them are walking this earth. So I make sure to reflect that on my game as well. I just did a super bowl CPU Sim Vs. Sim last night, Arizona Cardinals vs. Pittsburgh Steelers. Out of all the players on the field, there are only 4 players with 90+ speed, 2 WR's and 2 corners, that's it. I have corners with speed 83, safeties with speed 77, DL with speed in the 50's, Edge rushers with speed in the 60's-70's and so on and so forth. The game plays very well.. it's more realistic
