Are these the best jeans for me? Short, size 12, age 59

I'm looking for a more up to date style of jeans but keep reverting back to my favourite, if a bit dated, skinny leg jeans. Today I'm trying on 3 different styles from Marks and Spencer. Please help me to choose the best style for me.

I am 5 ft 0 ins. too, so useful to see that they all fit you without needing shortening. And without heels.

I like the wide leg jeans on you, I am trying to leave the skinny jeans and have gone into straight leg which I really like. I do have a pair of wide leg linen trousers that I also really like.

Rhian, I think they all looked good. I think it’s how you style the rest of the outfit. Perhaps the wide leg jeans could work with a platform trainer to lift you up a bit (M&S have some for about £55). Maybe tuck your top in a little to create the illusion of a longer leg (don’t be self conscious of your tummy, it will look more slimming). I liked the v neck striped top, more flattering on you. The coat was great with the outfit. Definitely go for one of the modern Jean cuts to give yourself a change 😊

@@RhianWarlow it doesn’t need to be fully tucked, just a little in the middle at the side. I’m just trying to incorporate it since I discovered Melissa Murrell’s styling videos. It’s fun to experiment as I’ve been stuck in a rut . I think I’ll take your inspiration for some new jeans 😄

I really like the wide leg jeans in you, they really look good. How about trying straight leg, or bootcut/flares too just to see if they are your style too? Great video xx

I’m picking up my M&S order of jeans tomorrow. Like you not sure about wide leg jeans/trousers. They look good on you Rhian will reconsider. Could try some on while I’m at the store. I wear jeans most days. X❤
