I played the 101t’s last season. Easy to hit and durable. Thinking of trying their skyforger wedges.

having a budget friendly option that performs is always great. Many will love being able to try those out especially if they work for their game.

You did well with the Sub 70 MB too. You should do a fitting video with a client and dial them into a head and or brand with shaft input as well.

Interesting results…I’m one of those who can’t hit a large club head…I have a set of T200, T100S, and JPX-923 Hot Metal Pros…I hit the T100S the best by far, as much as I try to got with a more forgiving and more distance iron…was hoping the 101T would be a good fit for me to tinker with and try my hand at building a set of clubs…but, you mentioned the clicky noise with them and I have that with my T200 irons and just refuse to hit them…worst golf purchase I’ve ever made…the 301MBs look great, but if they don’t feel soft like a Mizuno 221, then not sure I’ll go with them…might have to track down a used set of Titleist 620MB to tinker with…thanks guys!

Thanks for doing this comparison. A couple of things it would be nice to see are your swing speeds. Everyone shows ball speed but knowing your swing speed to get the ball speed shown would be really helpful when comparing clubs against our own swing speeds. Also, if you really want to do an accurate comparison between the clubs wouldn't it make more sense to hit the 101T 8 iron since it's more representative of the CB and MB lofts? It makes more sense to me that when lofts are jacked and making a comparison to a more traditionally lofted club you try and match the lofts vs. the iron number. This way we can really see what the "Tech" is really bringing to similarly lofted clubs. Also, I would be interested to see your comparison between the 201CB, 301CB, and the 101T's. MFR's say that they aren't just putting a 6 iron on a 7 iron shaft and that there is more to it but the 101T's played 5 yards longer carry than the 301CB's...or 2 degrees stronger....hummm?

Takomo need to figure out a TPU or some other fill polymer to put in the 101t's to really set it off and tune the feel/acoustics.

Really appreciate this because I am considering buying Takomo irons. I don't understand why the weaker lofted MB and CB with higher launch angles, higher spin rates and steeper descent angles had a longer rollout of 10 yards in each case, while the stronger lofted 101T with a lower spin rate, lower launch angle and shallower descent angle had a much shorter rollout of just 6 yards. In other words it stopped quicker than the heads that are supposed to stop quicker. That defies logic. By the way, what ball did you use?

Just the comparison I was looking for! Do you find the top edge of these club heads thicker than say Titleist t100s's or Callaway Apex Pro 21's? I want to pickup a set, but I don't want to be looking down at a shovel. Thanks!

Comparison between 101T and Maltby FS-1 would be a good.

Looking at this brand and they only have one option on shaft length. I am 6'2" so is the mail order option adequate or would you recommend the heads and have them fitted locally? I'm in SC.

They are not bad for the money but the Sub 70s are better for a little bit more money.

These clubs are Made in China and are complete trash. Yes, they sound amazing, but they don't add distance or control. They're exactly the same as my old clubs EXCEPT, they bend at the head after about thirty to fifty swings. So far, it's the PW and the 7i, but I have no doubt that this is simply because those are my two most used clubs. Given the same number of swings, I have no doubt that the other clubs will start bending backwards at the hossel, or however you spell it. This was done with clean, ball first contact shots. Clubs were extended one inch and one degree upright.
