Honestly most people would just buy a guppy and take it at face value as a guppy, only true breeders or collectors would shell out money for rare breeds. Some goddamn people can't even tell the difference between guppies mollies bettas and teras. My mum being one of them .

I have several "rare" guppies in my tank at home and never even knew they were. I got them at a pet store, same price as any other fish. My favorite is my Yellow Lace becayse he also has some blue scales on him that show up under light!

i had a beautiful male betta fish named tsunami and he was so happy in is home. but one day i was cleaning his tank and then when i put back one of his decorations, i put it in where it usually was but i didn’t notice that it was kinda lifted up at the bottom. he had rocks bc that’s what he liked and ig i didn’t put it in right. i left to go to the store and when i came back, i couldn’t find him. i searched his tank and then i saw his little tale. he got stuck some how and sadly suffocated… i cried so hard. RIP tsunami 😭
