I put rough country trac bars on my '16 sierra and love them. Definitely more power into the ground and the rear end rarely slips at all now

i got a L99 f250 cclb on 35s going to 37s with a 6" lift and had wicked axel wrap so i went with flight fab trac bars made my ride night and day difference when i take off

Traction bars area great idea. But I dont see them for 4x4'n over even semi rough country. The examples I saw here made it irrelevant to raise your truck 6+ inches if you have a long section of traction bar just above the ground waiting to get pummeled, bent & shredded by rock or hard ground. Cool looking most definitely. I I could find a bar that sits high and doesnt affect my clearance Id buy it.

Just got a 2017 GMC Sierra 1500 after graduating college and I'm planning on getting the truck leveled and putting on 20x10's with 33'' tires. I want to make sure I get the most out of the truck since it is new to me and what I will be daily driving for a while. Will I need aftermarket upper control arms and other components with a 2'' or 2.5'' leveling kit? I have seen some people say yes and some people say no the factory control arms are just fine. I wanted your opinion because I want the truck to stay in good shape since I am planning on keeping it for a long time.

I'm running BDS Recoil Traction Bars on my 2021 F350 King Ranch Long-Box Antimatter Blue with 4" BDS 4-Link Long Arm, Coil-Over, Fox upgrades, dual steering stabilizers, airbags with compressor and wireless remote, camper tie-downs all rolling on 37X12.5R20 Nitto Trail Grapplers wrapped over a set of 20X10-18 Anthem Off-Road Rogues in Black and Milled. We pack a slide-in four season truck camper with a full wall slide and notice the difference in stability of the truck and camper setup when driving down the road. I definitely noticed the axial wrap prior to the Traction Bars, their worth it 👌 I love my ring, I don't find he rides rough considering he's a one-ton, lol

My truck had the Rize Industries full floating traction bars, but both sides have cracked welds and broke at the eyelets that connected to the bracket on the rear end. Even though I believe they have a design flaw, I'd like to find a good replacement set of the Rize traction bars. My truck has a 10 inch Rize lift too, so it would all match if I replaced the Rize bars with another Rize set. It's a shame that Rize is no longer in business 😕

BDS Reflex on my 2018 F150 Screw - function over form. Plus, BDS 6" w/ Fox 2.5 shocks all around & UCAs w/ 35's on 18's because I don't want to dick around with rubbing or chopping up my truck just to achieve a certain appearance or to make it function. I'd rather be able to air down and not run into rubbing issues during articulation of the suspension, as opposed to inadvertently ripping something off of my truck with mushy low psi tires under load (it happened once long ago, learned that lesson & it was expensive to fix - never again). I also beefed up the lower ball joints and outer tie rod ends with ones that have zerks.... duty-free joints are BS & lube is a good thing, especially when it's applied routinely in regular intervals. (Since I know it's going to happen - idiot trolls will be trolls - please insert sexual innuendos and puns regarding lubrication below. Thank you.)

Hey Guys I could use some input with my 2013 F-250 4x4 6.2 liter XLT it has a Ranch Hand Bullbar screened and wraps around headlight I want to keep it but push it forward about 6-8" to clear my headlight so I can access them plus give me a place to mount my 12,000lb winch... What is or would be your suggestion on how to do this and be sturdy enough that if need to use winch it don't leave the truck.. First off.... was that a fkn squatted truck in the thumb? TF? Second... ladder bars are for sure useful... Ever see axle wrap? Ever see leaf springs go S bendy under high load / torque? Ladder bars add a solid additional point of triangulated contact for the rear axle. They stabilize that load under acceleration, load, braking, and more. They're great. There are some better tests than this shown online, with jigs set up on the rear end, and man does that puppy MOVE, in the WORST of ways... especially when you increase the lift amount.
