My Tesla S is @300.000mls, still as new. $6000 so far in repairs. In 10 years, that is nothing!

It's not that "Tesla's feeling the pinch." It is the legacy auto manufacturers who are feeling the pinch and not selling their electric vehicles very well. This is partly because 1. their dealerships don't care much for selling EV's since they can't make the money they're used to making with the maintenance and repairs of gas vehicles. 2. the legacy auto makers have vowed to make less EV's because their manufacturing is not up to Tesla's. i.e. Tesla's been making $billions in profit for some years now whereas Ford, GM etc. have been losing around $10,000 per EV.

Just compare EV with iPhone price drops, there is a bottom for EV prices since it is new and people want to try new things if they can afford it

I bought a 2017 model S for 22k w 72k miles and best purchase EVER. And I bet it’ll go for 10 more years. Non teslas? Can’t tell u I’ll never go there

I'm very sick of people buying at the top of market then being shocked that prices go back down to normal then call it a loss in value. All vehicles are down after the used car shortage. Stop including outliers in your data.

Used evs are actually a better value than used ice cars. They can last hundred of thousands of miles. Virtually no maintenance. The charging infrastructure is improving every day. The ideal situation is to charge at home. I own a 2023 Mach e premium, it’s the best car I have ever owned. I will never go back to gas cars.

Tesla batteries are warrantied, as in free replacement, for 10 years or 100,000 miles... they recycle old batteries, although there are Tesla EV's with 200,000 miles which are still running on their original batteries.

EVs are a fad that will go away. Ford realized that with the Ford Lightening pickup truck and other manufactures are beginning to see the light. Personally I have always found the concept although intriguing , limited by modern day battery technology !

If EV's are a fad, then why are sales growing, more and more models being released, and more and more people switching? Electric motors are 92% efficient. What exactly is going to beat that in the market? A combustion engine that struggles to break 30%...? Not getting the logic here...
