Try bertucci in titanium with sapphire, 200mm, with full lume, us made movement. I have two. They are indestructible. I wear on the job as a full time paramedic.

do they have in quartz movement? Nothing is going to make me go to mechanical at this point.

I know someone who bought one of their quartz watches and it stopped working after only a few weeks of wearing, they made him jump through hoops to get it fixed and it came back and worked for like a week or two before breaking again. He was never hard on it or did anything to it that should’ve cause any wear and tear at all. Just thought people should know, it’s one thing if a product breaks, then it’s another if the warranty/cs is a painful process but to then receive a broken watch back is just a perfect cherry on top.

The VAER Chronograph is not solar-powered. It is battery-powered. I like VAER watches also. I too have several; though you only need one.

I have to check Vaer out, but I doubt that they have my watch. * digital watch * not touch * not smart * no extra stuff, I just want to tell the time without a bunch of distracting stuff

They are not my thing, but I'm glad you like them. I'm a mechanical person and their mechanicals are overpriced, imo. I'm surprised you haven't looked at Bertucci.

Meh. When you use the word "investment" and "next level" with these watches, you lose me. I'd MUCH rather have a vintage Omega Seamaster 300 or Breitling Colt for $1500 than three $500 Vaer watches. For one thing, you won't lose half your "investment" when you go to sell in five years.

@@sz-4b0B9I I know jack shit about this obscure shitter brand. I don't have to. Buying mechanicals under 2000-3000 is a giant waste of money. In fact, anything under Tudor and Omega is a waste of money. These are luxury male accessories, jewelery for men. Buying an Oris or a Longines or God forbid a Citizen, let alone some POS microbrand, is a gigantic fail and waste of funds. If you can't afford a proper mechanical, buy an Apple watch or some shit. A fool and his coin are soon parted...

@@johnnysilverhand1733 Easy my friend, not all of us are willing or able to spend 3k on "jewelry for men". My every day work watch is a $35 Timex, I've beat it up and it keeps on ticking. Never been late because my watch has failed me either.

If you consider watches from an investment point of view, then there are only ~5 watches worth buying and they cost a couple of orders of magnitude more than a Vaer watch. Even most Tudor and Omega watches aren't worthwhile as investments. But that is an incredibly boring and limited viewpoint of watches. Watches ARE male jewelry - so why not buy what you like, as opposed to considering them as an very sub-par and somewhat non-liquid investment.

@@johnnysilverhand1733 This is not true. Brands like Sinn hold their value pretty well, and they're in the 1500-2000 range. Their normal models retain about 70% value, which is really good, and their limited edition pieces often go 2-3 times over the normal price.
