Result wise can’t see any good news for wales . Could be painful. But least by next six nations wales will know their best two players in most positions . I’m sure they will be more competitive next year and Gatland has to make a start somewhere. He’s still the guy for the job. In my opinion.

I think it will be a close game. Springboks missing some key players and they tend to start the season slow.

With the 10 situation, I think Dan Edwards is just as big as costelow but oh well.. he’s also more in form. I think Gatland intended for Joe Hawkins to become a 10 when Biggar and Anscombe ended their Welsh careers but then got shocked by his move to Exeter

On the contrary, this is the best time for Wales to play the Boks, because South Africa will be without their Europe-based players, too.

The Bok 3rd team would beat Wales. But its not about the rugby its a fund rasier for the Unions involved, and boy does (Welsh) rugby need funds rght now. Hopefully Wales will put up a fight and not get blown off the park. Otherwise punters wont pay the ticket costs in future for such fixtures.
