Once you adopt a cat suddenly every cat person is a saint in your eyes like my leo made me a cat lady and now my phone and social media feed all about cats its amazing how these little creatures make you feel and the amount of love these tiny aholes are capable of giving 😂❤

I like how you support cat rescue groups. Also, it was great seeing how you gradually introduced Luther and Janice and that they get along so well. I thought it so cute to see how Janice first arrived and kept her tail so high and curved at the tip. That is a cat nonverbal behavior that shows the cat is feeling confident and enjoying being around his or her humans.

This was me and my partner just a month ago! We'd had our first for about 2 years (he's now 4) and I know exactly what you mean about the pining. We didn't get another kitten specifically for him but we knew that he would cope well enough as he's used to company (we have a house rabbit she's an absolute bitch and my pride and joy) we kept them separated for about 2 weeks with limited contact and now a month later our boy and new kitten girl are in love. The slow introduction is the key to the relationship!!! And defo turning a blind eye to the bum fun 🙈

Just came back to re-watch this video for some helpful advice because I'm bringing home our second kitty next week and want to be prepared. I've watched a few videos on the subject, but the way Nova and Olympia accomplished it seems not only do-able but also done in such a loving way, it's helped to relieve a lot of anxious worries for me. ❤

I introduced a kitten this year. She had been dumped so when i adopted her, she was tinier than she probably should have been at her age (she weighed barely 400grams). She also was not a vocal kitten. To hear her make sounds, you literally had to have her by your ear. She also was a skittish cat. any quick movement and she was behind the bed quick fast To make her more happier with her new cousin (a boxer dog) we would give her "time out" in the bathroom. She had her food, her water, a dirt box and her bed. We usually would leave her in the bathroom for a good 30min. We had left her for barely 4mins until we checked on her. She was GONE. We ripped the bathroom apart looking for her. No tiny kitten. There was a window open a slither and we convinced she had gotten out. We hadn't had this tiny kitten for 24 hours so she didn't know her name, didn't like my family yet. Didn't know the landscape of the house. The window was too high for her to land safely and it was pissing down with rain. My neighbours have many places for her to hide on their property so we went looking. We only had about 10% chance of finding her and weren't even convinced she would come if we called her or run away if she saw us coming. We arranged a cat trap from our SPCA and bought the smelliest fishy kitten food we could find. We could only wait and see and hope. A couple of hours later, i went into the bathroom and by chance looked in one of our heavy drawers in the vanity that hardly gets used ... tucked happily in the drawer was the tiny kitten. We didn't think to look in the drawer because it would have been too heavy for her to open. The little one, must have gone up the plumbing and at the back of the drawer, there is a tiny gap which she squished herself thru. My heart stopped and restarted that day

got my kitten last month, we were already catsitting for my aunt so her cat was mad as shit, thought this was his house. my aunt picked him up the next day, and he came back a month later fatter and now my kitten and her cat are best friends, always chasing and playing

When I introduced my 3rd Persian kitten to my crew, including a German Shepherd & Catahoula Leopard dog,...one of my drama mama kitties got mad & pooped on my bed. New kitten ran and hid behind German Shepherd who protected her (didn't even let me near new kitten.) Since then all's well - except new kitten's a demon with all my other fluffy babies.
