I'M SO GLAD TO SEE YOU GUYS BACK!!! I wasn't sure if you guys had put together a video from old footage but then I saw your beautiful little baby and was super happy! Watching you try to make the best of it in Canada actually got me down, the little monohull boat, the weird looking fish, the bad weather and gray..lack of sunshine, the quiet, the lack of other people, it was all depressing! So that's why I'm so happy to see you back!!! YAAAAAY!!!!! 👣 WELCOME BACK!!!!

I appreciate the realism you offer coupled with the ability to recognize, understand, and appreciate what it is you have because you *know* the vision of it is anchored in truth. That isn’t because of the boat, the upgrades, the tuna, the channel, or the experiences. Instead all of these things are only possible because of the people you are surrounded by. That is the “why” and it is why it is enjoyed. That may be one of the most important things. Ultimately you seem to be grounded in people being people to other people and your idea of that is genuine and pure. I feel that I can say this because you’ve shared your truths and that is why I can believe it and root for you. It’s is apparent in the look of understanding in the thumbs up at the end. Either that or you’ve got great editing skills. Happy for you.

Hello from El Nido, Philippines. Maybe as a suggestion, spend an extra year in Asia before crossing the Indian Ocean? So much to see here. Try cruising the West Coast of Sumatra which is way off the beaten path with South Pacific like beaches and islands....or back track to the Anambas Islands? I spent a couple years in Phuket...also doing big refits, getting ready to cross the Indian Ocean (again). A good friend convinced me to stay in Asia, and I am so happy that I did. I see Kenya is on your list. I spent 15 years cruising, working and living there. If you have any questions for that area, happy to share my thoughts with you. BTW, I originally come from Chemainus, not far from where you come from. Take care.

As much as I love adventure and would love to see Nahoa & fam sailing, staying put makes more sense until after monsoon etc peaks. EDIT to add: NOT suggesting to stay at your current 2500 baht day berth. Surely there's a private berth thereabouts for far less? Maybe make an appeal in a vid, bet it would get several responses. Good luck either way
