A popsicle ice cream factory under the premises of new market, Dimapur which is one of the oldest ice cream manufacturers in the district was found neglecting hygiene. NLTV team while visiting the spot had witnessed how unclean water and other materials were used to produce popsicle ice cream and being supplied to the market of Dimapur. As per the FSSAI directives & condition says “maintain factories sanitary and hygiene standards and workers hygiene as specified in the schedule-4 according to the category of food business”

As a kid, we were always warned by our elders, not to eat those icecreams or popsicles, since they are made of unfiltered water. Those days, the sellers got good profits when media wasn't around. But now, with high class, technologies everywhere, everything is coming to light. Even the factories or thr foodstores are being exposed, if they are running against the rules of food safety. Hats off to our brother Ali, who managed to revealed the unhygienic processesing of icecreams, before they are sold. Please keep up the good work 👍👍👍

If this center is not charged, than this matter will go to the court and then the department concerned for overlooking the health and hygiene should be fined with a hefty fine and also be put behind bars for not fulfilling their duty including the people involved in this should be beaten up for endangering life especially those young students who will get sick even kidney failure. #behindthebarsforofficerinvolved #blackandbluebeatingupofthoseinvolved

I knew something was not right whenever I pass by the Ice-Cream Plant and that's the reason why I stopped having them 18 years back when I was only 16 years old... It took so many years for my intuition to turn into reality and get this Popsicle plant exposed.. Thank you NLTV

Today someone offered me an ice cream but I refused even though the weather was damn on fire. Now this happened. I'll never touch it again and I'll spread the gospel around. I used to hear a decade ago how unhygienic the process was, but never believe it would have been this much!! Please visit the bakery factory too. It wouldn't be different!! Food safety deppt. should hand over their responsibilities to media person. They are doing much better job for public health. Kudos to #NLTV
