In recent years there has been a huge increase in the number of children reporting gender dysphoria. Around 48 children a week are now being referred to The Tavistock and Portman Trust which is the first NHS transgender clinic created specifically for children. A mother of a fifteen year old girl with autism is now taking legal action against the clinic, to try and stop them from giving her daughter hormone blockers after the centre misinformed the family, making them rush into treatment without proper assessment. Former Tavistock therapist, Sue Evans joins Holly and Phil to speak out about this issue.
