Not having a plan is 100% ok. Not wanting a kid after wanting a kid forever is ok. And flipping back and forth and deciding you eventually do is also ok. That’s so normal- its a BIG life change. Take your time deciding- because you have SO much time. 💖

Making a new life is the biggest decision but at the same time it’s one that you can’t really control, one that you will adapt to and change as necessary and also one that you will never regret (well not often!). When I finally made the decision to try with my husband (and I’m crap at making decisions!) it then took us three years to finally fall pregnant. You just never know xxx

Well, as a mom to 3, it's a big change. And yes, for us, we just knew that we wanted to have a baby. I will tell you though, if you wait until you are 100% ready, you won't ever do it.

I agree 100%, theres never a perfect time for a baby. We started trying for our 1st baby just after we got married which was sooner than we'd originally planned but we just went for it. It took 3mths so not too long, he was born 1 month after our 1st anniversary. Our 2nd was a surprise, we found out 2 days before our sons first birthday. Our 3rd is now 5mths and he's 7yrs younger than our 1st so a big gap but i just woke up one day and knew i wanted another before its too late (I'm 34 now). We were so sure but still scared of how it would change our lives but it was one of the best decisions we've ever made. It's even tempted me to have a 4th!!!! Crazy 🤯

Loving the backwards top at the beginning of the video :D As for babies its such a hard one. We felt totally ready back in the UK, had a house and stable jobs, now we've moved to Australia the thought of it actually makes my chest really heavy and I feel sick. When you feel ready go for it, don't let anyone make you feel pressured!!

There’s no perfect time to start, and for a variety of reasons it may not be perfectly planned. But I’ve never experienced any regrets. Family in whatever form it takes is everything.

Don’t feel pressured guys just because you’re married. My sister has the same where everyone keeps asking about babies and you should do it when you’re ready. You’ve got time, don’t rush.. it doesn’t mean you don’t want a baby in future, but you have to be prepared & ready. Xx

There is so much pressure placed on people around becoming parents. The reality is there is no right time, you don’t wake up and feel a 100 percent sure that you want to become parents. What I would say it is a balance, enjoy married life, do travelling have all the adventures you want together. Parenthood is bloody hard work, enjoyable and beautiful but your life changes forever. It is not easy and you have to be ready and accepting of that fact. When the time is right it will happen x

We should do a Festival Place meet up with other nearby viewers! I’d love to meet you guys! We got married April 2018, and I gave birth May 2019. I’ve always wanted a baby too, and although I was terrified for how our lives would change, you just can’t get over this absolute joy that you created this being!! I do miss holidays though 🙈😂and yeah, Folic Acid for ‘trying’ and the first trimester. I didn’t take any ‘pregnancy’ vitamins after that and she turned out fine!

We had our kids while we were newlyweds so that we could be empty nesters in our 50's. The plan worked out well. We have two girls, grown and on their own. They are now done with college and have their careers. We are 52, married for 31 years. My wife is a Stage 4 cancer survivor and we are currently moving from WA state to Orlando because she likes Disney. Think long term goals.

I came off contraception and just let nature takes its course and when I saw that the pregnancy test was positive all the doubts went out of the window even with the nerves! Nothing has to be put on the back burner you just adapt and get more excited about the things that you can do with a baby and having your own family! They don’t ruin your life they make it and change it for the better in my opinion. Plus you can always go to Disney with other adults you don’t have to miss out on the big rides like I said adapt! Good luck in your journey and make the most of it without worrying too much x

I don't think there is ever a truly perfect time to have a baby. I go back and forth several times a day on having a third. I was only 24 when I had my first, and would not really recommend it. My number one tip is to feel comfortable with who you are first, and to know yourself. Figuring that stuff out with a screaming baby in tow is super hard! Also, having a network around you and family nearby is a big plus in my opinion. You might want to tick another destination of the old bucket list too, since kids are hella expensive. But you can really do anything you want to after kids, but your priorities might change, and some things have to be done differently. We just booked our second WDW trip with kids, and that will be very different from adults traveling alone, it's still magical and amazing. Just know that trying can take some time, but it can also work on the first try. But no matter what, good luck!

I feel like there is never a right time to have a baby, your always going to have something going on weather it’s good or bad but at the end of the day if you have a child you will always find a way to adapt to your new life. I already have a daughter and pregnant with my second child and I feel like am I ready to be a mother of two?! But life always gives you what you can handle. So don’t ever be afraid or wonder what’s the right choice. You guys will be great parents. ❤️

We got married in May last year and constantly go back and forth on the baby topic! We want to do a couple more holidays beforehand but we've said in 2 years it's definitely going to be baby time - the way we look at it is, there's never a perfect time, you're always going to want ANOTHER holiday or a bit more money so I think it's one of those things you have to bite the bullet on and just do! And once you have a lovely baby you'll never look back!

I don’t think there ever is the ‘right time’. It’ll happen when it happens and if it doesn’t feel like the right time you will always make it work! :) my daughter is now almost 6 months and I can’t imagine life without her now. Yes there’s times when I think it would be nice to be able to do things that aren’t necessarily that easy with a baby but the love and purpose it gives you is unbeatable! Xx

Conceiving seems to go one of two ways; either you catch straight away or it takes a veeeery long time. They should teach the struggles of conceiving in schools so people can be prepared. Good luck! My Nan always said that the good lord will know when you’re ready to be a parent so it will happen when the time is right.

I’m currently 12 weeks pregnant. Me and my hubby had a ‘plan’ and it kept getting delayed due to Disney, buying a house and a holiday to Spain... welll our plan was to start trying now but before we had chance it turns out I fell pregnant before we moved and before the holiday. The only solid plan was ideally I wanted our first baby before I was 30 and I’m 29 this year. You will make it work. Look at us we were t actively trying and it happened. I just came off contraception with the view in a few months. I brought folic acid with the view to talk to hubby but before we had the chat I started to really notice symptoms and it turned out I was already 8 weeks pregnant at that point. You guys will be amazing whatever decision you make. Just remember do what makes you both happy and there is never a perfect time for anything. Ps - if you fall pregnant soon we can all go to Disney and share child care so we can still have fun adult days hahaha Love you guys!!!

The best tip is to wait at least two years after marriage to really enjoy each other and your time before things change by having a baby. That's for the rest of your lives, so you want to enjoy being a couple for as long as you can. Also, I don't think there is ever a right time to have a kid but never do it because you feel like you need something new or you're bored or that you feel you 'have to'. The biggest thing is to make sure you're financially stable, and your relationship is healthy.

Aww, you two would make perfect parents but I totally get you when you say that you're not sure whether you are ready or not. It's one of those things isn't it? I have a now 15 month old and he was very much a surprise pregnancy and I'll admit that I was pretty terrified as I just did not feel ready in the slightest! But now looking back I'm so happy that it happened the way it did and our little boy has been the best thing that's happened to my husband and I. He totally completes us! At the end of the day if you know that it's both what you desire and things are set in place for a baby then I would say go for it. You probably hear this from everyone but I don't think you ever truly feel completely ready to bring a little human into the world. It is scary, but it's also the most fulfilling role you could have in life. Sending my love to you both! Xxx

It's totally normal to not have a plan and not be sure. I would say you won't ever be 100% it's the right time. There will always be something in life at anytime that makes you question if it's the right time. It's one of those things.

Relating to this in many ways! We’re not married but we live together and currently in our 3 month “prep stage” before we start trying (I’m taking the same vitamins because they were smaller to swallow as well as cheaper lol). I’ve always known I wanted children and as I’m 31 I know my fertility is about to start lowering so don’t want to waste any more time (I also think about how our child will lose us earlier the later we have them). But as excited as I am this dream is finally going to happen I’m also wishing we had time to save and go to Disney World together first but fate brought us together a little late so we’re just going to have to go with the flow and take our child with us in the future. I took my partner to Disneyland Paris for his 30th last year so that was a special trip together =) People say there’s never a “right” time or you’ll never be as prepared as you want or have as much money as you’d want etc so whilst our lives are fairly stable we’re taking the leap and shall adapt as we go along! Good luck in whatever you chose to do

How you’re feeling is so normal where children are concerned. I never really wanted children but I had 3; 2 boys and a girl. My then husband, had a few problems so when the thought of not ever having children together reared it’s head, I really wanted them so badly, we had to make a few big decisions about our future together. Anyway, we were able to get those issues sorted and we went on to to have our babies. Don’t leave it too late to start trying though as, if for any reason you have any problems conceiving, you’re still young enough to get help. I’ve sadly seen that happen to young couples who think it will be easy and it’s not always as straightforward as one might think. Good luck. You will be lovely parents and a whole new adventure awaits x

I got married on the Monday after you and we've been together nearly 8 years and we're in the same baby situation now. We go back and forth between wanting one now and wanting to wait a bit. We're thinking about having 1 more big holiday to Japan next year before we start trying properly. I am also quite conscious of the fact that it can take time to get pregnant and it might not happen easily. I have watched quite a few family members go through IVF so that makes me want to start trying now to maximise our chances and give us the most time. It's such a confusing time but I'm glad you're going through it too. I've loved watching you go through wedding planning with me and now baby stress times!

Like you Sophie I wanted children from an early age, when we decided to have a baby it took 5 years to conceive my daughter. She is now 8 and a half, I'm married now (Not to her dad) have a career and like you love Disney. I've always known I wanted more than one but this time around I sway between I must have one, to wow look at our lives it's amazing should we unsettle that. How I've come to think of it is, if I sway against the idea, im protecting myself in case it doesn't happen, but I know really there will always be a bit missing if I don't try (after Disney in Feb 2020) there is never going to be a perfect moment but also conceiving doesn't come easy to us all, so why not leave it to fate xx we will support you in what ever you both decided and what is right for one might not be right for another xxx

Firstly, I have just found your channel, really enjoying your Disneymoon vlogs!Secondly, it’s totally natural to change your mind every 5 minutes about the baby thing, there really is no ‘right’ time. Thirdly, I have just realised you were in the shopping centre so close to me, I find that sooo weird, watching a youtuber who actually lives not insanely far away! Not sure why 😆

If you wait until you’re fully ready to have a baby, you’ll never have one. If you want to be parents just take the leap! And if it’s meant to be, it will happen when it’s supposed to happen ❤️

I think it’s really normal to have those mixed feelings. We had both knew that we were ready but even now with an 18 month old, we have moments of “what were we thinking?” We love being parents but it’s a huge adjustment. Also please go into it with an optimistic but realistic mindset as it can be extremely stressful trying to conceive. Wishing you both the best of luck with it, you’ll make fab parents!

Happy birthday Dave! There is no perfect time to have a baby and yes you will go back and forth about it right up until that test says you are having a baby.

You could instead of just taking folic acid buy multivitamins and mineral tablets (ones that include vitamins and minerals in 1 tablet) and often folic acid is included in there. Which means your body will probably absorb it all better and you also get a boost of all the other good stuffs your body needs xx

Plus, stuff labelled just for pregnancy always cost more because they can. But all in 1 tablets which you take once a day will give you more for your monday x

Sophie, you remind me of my daughter after she was married. After she got married she and her husband went back and forth on when to start a family. My daughter was a bit nervous knowing it was a big change. Not only that, she worried because she never had any motherly instincts. Well, she had her first baby last December. Haley is a healthy and beautiful 6 month old girl. My daughter was wrong about everything. She really enjoys Haley and is so protective of her. So, Sophie and Dave your feelings are normal. You two will be great parents as long as you treat your baby the same as you treat each other. Dave, try to have a little girl first. Little girls will more likely take care of daddy. Trust me. There's nothing better than to have a daddy's little girl. :)

By the way. Don't worry about you Disney trips. My daughter wants to take her baby when she turns 2 years old. We took our daughter for the first time when she was only 4 years old. She doesn't remember a thing about that trip, but we do. Parents will always remember their young children having fun at Disney World even if their children don't remember. I still remember my daughter's excitement on It's a Small World and Peter Pan. Such fond memories.

Never a right time but one thing I would say is do another Disney trip coz we said we would when we had children and we now have 2 and still haven’t made it bk mostly due to age of children and cost!! We’re hoping to go bk in 2021 when the kids will be 9 and 7 x

Love both your vlogs, especially your Disney ones, me, hubby and 3 kids watch them and great to see your lifestyle vlogs. I've just realised you've moved to where my Mum lives (where I grew up) and I won't say where that is, but if we bump into you is it ok to get a pic with you as the kids would love it.

White coco pops are definitely a thing. They are currently £2 in Asda (I got the last box in our local one on Monday), yet to try them though 🙈. Enjoy married life and it will happen naturally when the time is right (I’m a big believer in what’s for you won’t go by you). Squeeze in another WDW anniversary trip 1st (I’m kidding lol, u will both do an amazing job as parents).

You will.make such amazing parents. Best of luck whatever you decide. Is there a PO box or address you let people send things to? I've said before that my youngest daughter is the biggest chip fan and she has drawn a picture of him and would like to send it to you all to show in a video. If this is something you'd let her send you please let us know :) xx

There's never a "right" time to have a baby really, if your flipping back and forth but it's not because you can't afford it or for "serious" reasons then you probably are ready and it'll happen when it happens 😊😍 How exciting!!!!!!!
