Great video! Enjoyed it immensely. I’ve ridden motorcycles for 40 plus years and am contemplating a Vespa. I currently own a VStrom and a 1977 BMW airhead. I’ve always worked on my own bikes and I do like the older bikes. I’m thinking about a two stroke manual Vespa, could you suggest a year and model range to look at? I don’t want to go too old, but any suggestions in what to look for would be greatly appreciated. Thank you again! Joe

Mein Tipp: bin 1,90m und fahre das halbhohe mit einer Spoilerscheibe. Da kann ich ganz gut gerade drüber gucken ohne den Wind ins Gesicht zu bekommen. Der Vorteil dieser Kombi ist, dass sic zwischen den beiden Scheiben ein Sog aufbaut, der den Wind über den Helm wegzieht. Außerdem drücken dich keine Verwirbelungeb nach vorn👍

Im Sommer hab ich meins immer runter genommen...bei kälterem Wetter sind sie natürlich ideal

Nachteil beim kleinen und mittleren Windschild= Wind voll auf den Oberkörper und Gesicht. Daher kann ich es nur bedingt empfehlen 😉

Was ist mit den ganz kleinen? Nur optisch oder auch nutzbar?

Bin 190 groß, sitze daher etwas weiter hinten. Das kleine bringt bei mir auch was, speziell wesentlich weniger Winddruck als ohne. Auch merklich leiser (wenn auch nicht optimal). Mit der 125er bin ich aber auch nicht rennmäßig unterwegs. Wenn man will bringt man aber auch die 125er mit kleinem Schild an die Maximalgeschwindigkeit. Für ein weiterer Grund gegen das hohe ist die Putzerei.

@@reinharddrechsler9902 doch, machen rechten Lärm. Auch der Windruck wird etwas abgeleitet und meine Vespe wurde etwas schneller

Fahrgeräusche sind schwer zu testen - weil jeder anders sitzt. Bringt halt mehr Gewicht um die Lenkachse: Je größer/schwerer, desto übler der Einfluss. Ideal ist m.E. ein elektrisch über Knopf ausfahrbares Windschild: ganz unten für Zugluft bei 35 Gtrad, ganz rauf auf der Autobahn bei Regen, und sonst je nach Lust und Laune stufenlos dazwischen. Gibt's aber bei der Vespa nicht, oder? Gruß aus Nürnberg, Günter

Ich bin ein 365 Tage Fahrer mit ca 70km tgl. Ich habe seit jeher das größte Windschild auf meiner 300GTS...mannoman sieht das sch**** aus...aber mit meinen 180cm sitzt es sich dahinter einfach herrlich!!!
