I have often been puzzled by leftists bringing the private parts into conversation. It's like they are obsessed. I think most people that are well balanced don't really give private bits much thought unless they are using them at the moment to relieve one's bladder or for recreation. I honestly think that this is their go to in firearms discussions is yet another sing they've an unbalanced mind. FWIW, I was raised as a Lutheran. Sexuality is a very private thing in that denomination. The only time one acts in a sexual way is with one's spouse and even with one's spouse it's not really a public thing, PDAs are frowned on. I honestly think that's healthy, it keeps boundaries clear in work and social situations. Just my 2 cents. In that circle, women and men can actually be friends due to this.

It was a lot more nuanced than that. Basically Perry had made numerous comments about wanting to kill BLM protestors to both friends, online, etc. So then when he saw a BLM protest he ran a red light and intentionally drove his car into the crowd, and then when a guy open carrying came up to his car he shot him. Perry specifically stated the guy hadn’t aimed the gun at him, but that he was worried he was “going to aim” it at him. It’s one of those really sticky situations where you could sort of argue for a split second that he was acting in self defense if you narrow your view to exclude any context, but overall it looked like a bad shoot.

@@jimyeatsthe BLM riot didn’t clear out based on the street light so red light or not is irrelevant. He was stopped by the rioters before the intersection and surrounded. If someone blocks you in an intersection and the light changes you are in fact supposed to clear the intersection as soon as possible. One could also argue that The rioters had no permit to shut down the street and no detour signage leading to people being unexpectedly trapped by rioters who are blocking public streets without signage to warn motorists. He was in his car and not moving (or going very slowly) when the rifle was aimed at him. He was convicted based on social media posts created complaining that he didn’t approve of buildings being set on fire and random people being attacked in riots over a guy in another state with a mile long rap sheet dying of a fentanyl overdose while being arrested for trying to use counterfeit money. Unfortunately he was found guilty of defending himself in a blue district.

He didn’t so much “run a red light” as slowly inch through the intersection as the light changed several times while he tried to get through the area. He was intermittently stopped then inching along at 2mph. Unfortunately this event occurred in one of Texas’s blue districts where he was tried for the crime of defending himself by a jury of the most far left Texas has to offer based mostly on angry social media posts.
