Exactly! There can be many truths in Lies There are no lies in Truth. there is a Truth that there are positive effects and consequences of meditating on God's Word. God says to make our requests known to Him (He knows them, He wants us to talk to Him about them) ... _with_ praise and thanksgiving. God's Word says in Matthew chapter 6: "31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. "

And Christians seem to be the hardest to convince. The 2 Christian ppl I know who believe in the law if attraction, also believe that the bible has been so altered that we can’t trust it anymore……..

@@litrugia if that's what they believe, I wouldn't consider them Christians, regardless of how they self-identify. Only those who follow Christ are Christians, and if they don't trust the Bible (which is God's Word), they don't trust Christ (who is the Word made flesh).

law of attraction is no more bad or evil then the law of gravity. Rather u like it or not... everyone uses it all the time! so reject it is like rejecting gravity.... Rather u belife in god or not...if u let go of a baby on side of building ..baby will fall and prob die! so why not use gravity towards your advantage instead? same goes for fire, electricity, and law of attraction. law of attraction is always working. always!

The "Law of Attraction" was around when I was a kid, in the 60s & 70s. I know because I tried it for decades. It was brought to my attention from a book called, "Illusions" by Richard Bach, also author of the million seller, "Jonathan Livingston Seagull" which he later said was dictated to him by a demon. Bryan probably isn't old enough to remember. But I'm sure it's been around and around for centuries and millennia in different forms. But now, even though I live in poverty, all I seek for is to be closer to God through His Word and prayer and communion with Him and I am so much happier. Let this world go. Crucify your fleshly desires and draw nigh to God! Thank you, AiG, for calling out this cultish practice.

The Bible calls the Law of Attraction Sowing and Reaping. It requires your faith to work. Most people don't realize Sowing and Reaping is ALWAYS working. What they don't understand is how faith works. For faith to work, you need an INTENSE desire, a belief or knowingness that you will receive what you desire, and you must feel good (joy) that you will get it. DO NOT LOOK AT "HOW" IT WILL HAPPEN. It is God's job to supply your answer to prayer. If you try to figure how you are going to make it happen, you will fail because you ARE NOT!! trusting God. Act on what is in front of you and go as far as you can see. When you get there you will see farther. Let God lead you. You should enjoy what you are doing if you have faith. If your goal is too big, focus on one that is big enough to excite you but small enough that you can believe it. The smaller goal should be a step toward your bigger goal. If you have doubt about your goal, you are looking at what you don't want. Start focusing and keep focusing on what you want. Your first prayer should be a command for what you want. Look at how Jesus and the apostles prayed. Follow up prayers should be thanking God for delivering. How do you know your goal is in alignment with God? You will feel peaceful. If you are not peaceful, you had better check with God and see if it is what He wants for you.

For one thing, there are plenty of false prophets as well as false teachers around, and they very rarely bring on themselves self-destruction. Look at Kenneth Copeland, the faith-healer, who has a pacemaker, and all the people he's killed just so he can have an extra jumbo. And that is just if you believe it. If you don't believe it. there are no false prophets or teachers, there are just people, many of them psychopaths who have discovered that they can get other people to listen to them and give them money if they shout out the Bible. These falsifiers of the human instinct for caring about their fellow primates are bogus, and that's it.

@@Laughingatsciencedeniers, It was a strange way to say it, but I understand what they are saying. Yes. Public school is a horrible thing all over the world with very few exceptions. It really, really is. However, sending your kids to school is a good thing. As long as that school is a private school. If you think public school is fine, you're part of the problem. It's difficult to see the problem when you are the problem.

Too little religious dogma and hate? As human beings, there is nothing wrong with wanting a nice car, house, spouse, children, clothes, food, etc. It's when we want mansions, porches, eating out at the most expensive restaurants and having expensive clothes that can get us in trouble. God wants us to have nice things. If evil people had all the nice things, that wouldn't be God's will either! I like what you said at the end, trust in the lord and he will give you the desires of your heart; God will meet our needs just not our greeds.

Agreed. Although I wouldn't even say it's about wanting mansions, porches, or eating out at fancy restaurants, it's when you make those things your god is when it becomes a problem. You can still be a Christian and be successful. Solomon is a good example.

The NLT (New Living Translation) has got the last few words wrong. It's not "there the DESIRES OF your heart will be" but "there your heart will be also". Matthew 6:21

Without going to extremes, there is a biblical basis for results from what you say: "Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits." Prov. 18:21 ESV and "The good person out of the good treasure of his heart produces good, and the evil person out of his evil treasure produces evil, for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks." Luke 6:45 So, it's not that you are proclaiming things, it's being able to discern what is coming out of your heart and replacing words of hate with words of love.

The first thing that came to my mind is the tenth commandment: Do. Not. Covet. 3:43 is literally a definition example of what coveting is. And they’re preaching about it as if it’s Bible centered. I pray God opens their eyes to the error of their ways and they repent :/

Thank you for this video speaking the truth about the truth! As someone with chronic illnesses and who became disabled through an accident and didn't recover I've experienced so pretty awful treatment from those who call themselves Christians because of this ideology. I've been told if I was truly a Chistian then I'd be healed and I'd be wealthy. I kindly called out the lies of the enemy they were spewing and told them that if God so desires He can heal me but if not for whatever reason then I have to continue to trust in Him that He knows what is best for me and my Spiritual life, His glory and for His Kingdom. We may not always get the answers we want or in our timing but He knows what's best and delivers in His perfect timing what is best for our Spiritual blessings which are far greater than any physical blessing. His ways are higher than our ways and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts so we need to trust in Him no matter what happens in our lives. 2 Corinthians 12:9 says “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me." This has been my cling to verse especially over the last few years as I know that it's not of my own strength that I've been able to get through the trials and suffering that I've endured but as hard as it is sometimes admitting that I don't have the strength I do so regularly when people ask me how I do it and get through. In 1 Peter 3:15 we're told to always have an answer for the hope we have and when I get asked I share why and mention 2 Corinthian 12:9 as to why I don't try to go with it when they tell me I'm a strong woman because I'm not strong but it's through Christ that I can do it and will give Him the glory for what He has done in my life and how He keeps getting me through every day no matter how hard it is or hw much pain I'm in daily. All the glory be to Christ!

Amen, what a testimony! My prayers go out to God to keep you through what you're going through, as He refines the finest gold through fire. Two verses that always bring tears to my eyes: "Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior." @@DistinctiveBlend "Amen" is a Hebrew word of affirmation translated most times in Scripture as, "verily". There's nothing about it referencing gender. Also, many if not most times that the word "man" is in Scripture it actually means "mankind", male and female. God's Word requires some study, and not to be read like a novel or newspaper.

It takes a true biblical principal and twists it into selfish gain. God does tell us to pray and believe you have received - but it also says to pray according to Gods will. It is a true thing that what we focus on does in fact manifest in our life - good things - bad things - illnesses etc. our thoughts DO matter. But as Christ followers God says for us to focus those thoughts on him - on the kingdom and on the work he has for us to do. He WILL provide and he WILL take care of us. We can believe that and we can believe and trust ALL his promises. It’s no secret - god has made it known that out of the mouth - the heart speaks and for as a man thinketh - so is he. Our thoughts DO matter and we called to think upon things that are good and righteous and pure and of the kingdom! Trust and believe in God and in his Devine will for our lives. Great message! My son was in a youth group where all they talked about was praying for what you want and claiming it. Your team will win, you’ll get a new car etc. When he told me this it made me sick. We’re in a different church now, and his new youth group actually teaches the Bible!

Yes, he never preaches against sin. If he did, he knows he would lose most of his church and their money. People hate to hear when they are doing wrong. They just want a preacher to pat them on the back and tell them everything is going to be great.

@@ritad.franklin6372 His formula must work because it has not changed in years. Welcome people to the church and promise to make them feel at home. Tell a joke. (Btw some are actually funny) Introduce the topic. Bring it back to some Bible topic. A lot of times it is Moses or King David. Always talk about the medical report, how you are from the wrong family, how your boss and coworkers don’t treat you right, how you don’t have the right connections. Then bring up an inspirational tale. Sometimes from reader’s digest. Then wrap it up with how God is just waiting to bring favor in your new season. Pray the simple prayer that he believes will save you. Finally finish it up by telling people that he hopes you get in a good Bible based church. This formula does not change at all.

I need some clarity. The bible says ask and your shall receive, seek and you shall find, knock and the door shall be open. What about confessing that by Jesus' stripes that I am healed. I am confused about when or when not to speak the word of God over my situation. I have been struggling financially for the pass few months and I have been confessing Psalm 23 over my situation. Is that not appropriate?

When i was in my mid 20's i wanted to go to the US. Next door to the company i worked for the owner had a company in the US. I was told ask him for a job in the US...i said nah cant do that...3years later i was working for him and he made me production manager...5years later i worked for him in the US. Now im a citizen and a premanent resident. Set and work hard towards your goals, always do your very best, treat people well and focus on the good. Projecting your dreams on the couch gets you nothing.

Who is God? Before reading you must know these things, and these things answer ALL Questions, Who is God? The term God that we know today and what people knew through all years, Is someone who is all power and knowing. Now imagine this, this is the God I read in his Word, what proves that God's Word is real, as God is real. God is Holy, and God said “I am” God is the Love, God is a spirit, so now imagine if there was a spirit who was Love and Good (Good is a part of Holy) They would be only Love and Good, as the feeling the thought the nature, a spirit that is Love itself that is Good itself, as God is the Word he is “I am” The word. So the reason that there is Love proves God is real, as how Word says he is Love, as God said he is Love. God is the spirit of Love, But he is God, so imagine and think as its true, that God is the spirit of Love, this thought, this feeling, this nature. If the word Love was a person, that is God, as it is God as he said he is Love. Like when he said let there be light and there was light.What God says ALl God says is true and will forever be true. Now God is Holy, Holy means to be Christ like to be Holy, you must read his Word and IT guides you to be Holy, IT is not an IT, when you know God and Trust God, what means you obey his word and you pray to God, as Gods word tells you.God is Holy so something Holy could not be wrong, its wrong to be around things thats wrong, God is Holy so he cannot be near wrong or he would not be Holy,God would be wrong, Wrong is not Holy, But God is God, He is All knowing he is all power, as he created us, the world we see and live in today, God created time itself as the Beginning, God is the Only one outside of Time as he created Time. When you put yourself in a way to be Holy and you strive to be Christ like, than you are on the way to be Holy, than God as the spirit of the Holy spirit, that Jesus his Only son who is God, left us with this gift. When you strive to be Holy, when you obey Gods Words, when you trust in God and God Only, When you know that Jesus was the Only person to not be born into sin, to not have sinned, to be the Only one who was truly Christ Like, as he was Christ, as Christ is God, as God is Holy, as Christ like is Holy. You will be guided and understand and All questions Will be answered in God's Word, when you know who God is.As The spirit of God, The Holy spirit, answers you, in Gods Word, That is my proof that My God is real, and Gods Word is real, as its the only Word that tells us these things, and answers All questions. If you read this and understand it, its proof of my God, if you do not understand and still doubt that is proof of my God, as the Evil is wicked and everything opposite from Holy, If you read ( Red) this with the thought in your mind that God is not real that Gods Word is not real, than you are not Holy, and the spirit is inside of ALL, but you are not Holy and God is Holy, so when you read and doubt, the Evil is guiding you, and you walk with the wicked, if you read and do not understand, than you are not Holy, you do not strive to be Holy, this is proof my God is real, and Gods Word is real, as its the Only Word, as its Gods Word, that tells us these things. Now you know these things put your trust in God, repent of your sins ( to ask for forgiveness, and to tell God all that you do wrong,and that you have turned you back from him and have walked with the wicked, because you have not trusted God and Gods Word) and when you TRULY do these things and you TRULY strive to be Christ like, than you will understand, and All questions will be answered in Gods Word.This is proof of my God, the God I read in Gods Word.

The problem is that Godly preachers should preach this and many other things from the pulpit. One of the purposes of preaching is to prepare the saints, but instead, we hear the same mamby-pamby sermons with no power! So Christians are so easily influenced because they are not prepared for the onslaught of false teaching.

This can sometimes be a self-fulfilling prophecy, too. When I started playing bass for the first time in my life at church, a lot of my thoughts were bass-centric, and I bought a bass. Years later, i started watching a lot of motorcycle videos, and within a few months I bought a motorcycle. "Law of attraction", or just me having hobbies and interests and deliberately acquiring accessories?

This is tragic! What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and loose his soul? God is not mocked or manipulated. He knows what a man worships despite his words or the extent of his knowledge. He has given us Him Self! We need nothing more. He is our delight!
