People who think Inoue should go up to fight Tank also are people who'd never think Tank should go up and fight Crawford or Canelo. Both Pacquiao and Inoue started from around 108; but by the time Pacquiao was in his 30s, he's already fighting in the 140 range (because Pacquiao started fighting, to earn some money to help the family out, before he was into his early teens). Inoue is now 31. How's he supposed to build a body to be like TANK, at 31?

Some said that Inoue has trouble with southpaw. He had fought southpaws before and the results are the same, KO. Nery did KD Inoue due to Inoue’s careless, overconfident or too anxious for quick KO. Since after the KD and Inoue has adjusted. Nery’s left hook was nowhere to be found. So, how can anyone say Inoue always has trouble with southpaw.

Inoue vs Bam is a much more realistic fight down the line than Inoue vs Tank. The only people that are calling for the latter are US casuals who just want to see Inoue lose because he chooses to fight in Japan rather than over there. When there’s so many great fights to be made, why do fans call for ridiculously unrealistic ones like that.

asking inoue to go up 3 weight classes to fight tank is like asking tank to go up 3 weight classes to fight boots and crawford or a 154 catchweight against janibek. that's just stupid. janibek at 154 would only need one counter uppercut to put tank to sleep coz of the weight difference. inoue doesnt need to fight tank coz his resume is much better than tank's. tank hasnt even unified at 135.

Finally, I get someone who agrees with me that Inoue is too small to go upwards. At 126, he might be able to beat most - but probably not all. He might lose to two or three of the top at 126 pounds. He's a small guy. He has skills, but he's already moved up four divisions. It's easy for people to say that he should move up to 130 or 135 to fight Tank... those who say that are just ignorant to the facts.

Nery looked really drawn out & weak at the weigh in, not to take anything away from Inoue's victory he put on a masterclass

Tank said himself that he's probably too big for him; he would have liked to fight him. Inoues' fights are great to watch. I think the next division up should be his limit as someone like Figueroa will hit him hard.

Asians are one of the smaller people on earth. They don’t have natural big frames. Inoue is only 5’5” and slim. He’s already moved up, fought and champion in multiple divisions. He will do what is best for him, not for a bunch of haters. They tried to push the narrative that he’s not good until he fights Tank and he has to prove in the US. Combat sports has multiple divisions for a reason. Why nobody tell Tank to move up and fight Bud Crawford or Bivol? Inoue can only fight the best fighters in his divisions and done that. In terms of fighting in the US. The Americans don’t support and promote the lower weight divisions like Japan. That’s why many fighters have to travel outside of USA to get paid. No one want to get into combat sports and fight without compensation.
