djpl311 Haha. The look on Tamera's face when she said "yes." It was almost as if she was having a flashback and in that very moment she thought Adam was asking her if she wanted to get spanked. MsAnna718 I don't think people think she's a child. They probably just assume that she's just as conservative in the bedroom as she is in her every day life. It's not a bad thing. It's just shocking when the most reserved one out of the bunch is down for getting spanked too.

Whenever Tamera says shocking things it's not even that she said it, it's the way Tamar reacts to her that cracks me up. Never read the book but people were begging me to, I might just go watch the movie just to see but if the book is as freaky as they claim it is, than how are they gonna play it in theaters and not have it be like porn? lol

***** Well I can understand why teenage girls are getting excited about this... Just another nonsense series that they can fantasize over just like the Twilight saga... And I am laughing hard at you calling the first book dumb. After reading the first few chapters of that book, that's the only line that went through my head, "This is so dumb. This is just sooo dumb." lol! I still, to this day, don't know why I read all of them!

👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 Amen Misssophisticated 1 and jodiii122! Fans of this series may disagree but Fifty Shades of No is not good erotica at all unless your man ain't giving it to you right! Like I said I didn't even get halfway thru the first book of this 💤💤💤💤💤fest series. It did absolutely nothing for me and I'm amazed that there is so much hysteria over it. For me when you read really GOOD erotica, you should be able to feel the words like Jeannie said as if it is happening to you and apologies in advance ladies...horny as hell! That's what Eric Jerome Dickey's books do for me. My introduction to EJD was when my friend gave me a copy of his book The Other Woman for my birthday and when I read some of the scenes to my husband, let's just say he made his wife very very VERY happy...**covers her eyes and blushes** lol! I'm about to read Addicted by Zane as we didn't get to see the movie as it wasn't shown in the UK 😂 and I've heard good things about this author.

I just hope that people will do more research of BDSM. If they ever do want to experiment. There is a fine line between pleasure and pain. And if you're not experienced, then it can easily reach the pain side. And cause serious damage. As much as I love this book because it brings it into mainstream. It is fiction, and should not be a guidebook. Christian Grey is hot and everything. Except the way he introduced Anne(?) was wrong. In the beginning she said no, but he kept pushing. He made her have a Brazilian wax and made pleasing him a priority. Stalked her and made everything she did, under his power. The power dynamics was hugely different. That's not how the BDSM world is, for the most part. Eventually she did like it. However there are many abusive people out there, and will take advantage and say it's BDSM when in fact it's not. So remember, like any erotic fiction novel, it's there for pleasure but is NOT A GUIDE BOOK! Do your research and if anything that should be taken from this book is have a SAFE WORD. Make your BOUNDARIES clear, and stick by them unless YOU slowly WANT to try different things. CONSENT is a must. It's only a part of your life. And the 3 main rules are stay SAFE, SANE & CONSENSUAL!!!

Kreauna B exactly that's what I meant with my comment is that like you sayed there's one dead and the other one in jail for trying to copy this and they adults imagine what kind of message kid are going to get out of this movie that's been so hyped? I mean as a parent you can say "no your not going to see this movie" but you know they will go behind your back and will get in that movie theater. And sense they saw it behind your back if they are confused or have any questions about the sex they are not going to ask you cause they know they'll get in trouble for it. They can try to imitate this get hurt or in deep trouble

I don't remember him making her having a brazilian wax...I remember him pulling at her pubic hair and saying "we might have to keep this"...also, she never really said "no"...she was hesitant but very willing to explore. BDSM always has to be consensual, 100%. I like that he gave her a contract and gave her the freedom to include and disclude things.

Why does things that involve sex these days so popular? In the music industry you have to have sex appeal to make it, and now for a book to be so popular it needs to be about sex, like what? Before it was never about sex, but now these days that is what everything is about. There's other things important than sex. Why is this book so popular?

I read all 3 books and I agree with Adrienne. those books were so tamed. Now my girl, Ann Rice's Sleeping Beauty Triology, Hunny let me tell yall!! It made 50 Shades of Grey look like Seasame Street! It had no boundaries. I still have to read the last 2 books. I recommend it to anybody who has read 50 Shades of Grey.

I don't know why everybody is going gaga over this book maybe it's because I am an avid reader so I have read a lot of books and know what's good. But to me the only thing the book fifty shades has going for it is the sex scenes, the rest of the story was poorly structured and developed, I was kinda surprised that it got so popular. Now don't get me wrong the book had a lot of potential to be great, it just wasn't fulfilled and I will definitely be going to see the movie because I wanna know if it made a better movie than it was as a book.

I completely agree Davia Colman. That's exactly how I felt after reading it. I basically skimmed through the 2nd book because of poor grammar. After a while my mind just could not continue to read.

It's because the book was originally a fanfiction for Twilight by an amateur writer. There are great fanfictions out there, but this particular one got famous just because of its sexual contents and author thought to take advantage of that fact and make some extra cha-ching out of it. I've never read the original fan fiction or the edited-and-released book version so I can't really say how much was edited out or re-written, but I assume editing process was mostly changing names around.

Davia Colman Don't see the movie just watch porn. It is a boring book plot wise. And the BDSM scenes are what Adrienne described. The books were only successful because BDSM is seen a s a taboo so it's seen as shock value.

I think because of the elements of s and m, actually sparked a public conversation, I agree that now in retrospect it was ya great story but it had interesting elements to it that could pique the curiosity of a large audience
