I haven't watched more of the content. But I'm certainly not inclined to. This video and the practices it preaches are toxic and wrong. Young people should never be called in over loud speakers like that unless they are looking for their whereabouts only. That's it. In addition. The non agressors did clearly communicate to the agressor. And they should not be asked to talk with the agressor. That is awful. Just plain awful. No to all of this.

Sadly, the LGBTQ+ community would most likely block them, as they are, per capita, more likely to abuse and molest children than heterosexuals. Now as for proof of that, I present possibly one of the biggest cases that the media has conveniently stayed largely silent about on it, namely, the Zulock Trial.

I hate about the fact that this is just so realistic, but there is no people like that counselor, and people don't even think of consent. They do what they want. We need more people like that counselor and the others that actually helped like that kid. Today's society is so cruel and disgusting. Just not the people who care though.

I NEVER thought this channel would do this, but it did: in a situation where one person is responsible, the authority figure acts like everyone is responsible. I was bullied CONSTANTLY in every phase of school. The aggressors were never punished - I was treated like crap for complaining. We were forced to set up decorations together to "help us get along." Lectured about communication. I was tormented without provocation, but they held victim equally or more responsible because I was an introverted asexual weirdo, and the aggressors were "normal." You have 1 perp here: the boy who can't take No for an answer and picks on the boy who stood up for the girl. And the episode submits them ALL to a lecture on proper communication. The 2 non-aggressors could not have communicated more clearly! You want to protect teens from other teens? Punish aggressors, not victims, and let the mentality I grew up with and that's replaying here die YESTERDAY!

SORRY! I NEED TO CORRECT THAT! First I said "all 3 we're at fault" But that isn't right! Why? I will explain at the end! Also: BEWARE!- This text ist crappy! But it was late and english isn't my first language. So live with it! I have to live with it to! The first guy did take it to personal. Maybe because he got already rejected alot in the past. Maybe even got bullied. So this rejection might did hurt him more, then it might seems on the outside. Also you could tell, that the girl felt very unsure how she should behaive and seems to care a lot about what other people think. (See the boy and the girl who laugh at her after the conflict). That's why she did go to the other guy for validation and advice. And that's why she could't solve the conflict alone in the first place. Maybe she was once a victim of bullying too and even molesting. And thats why she wasn't ready for a kiss or a relationship yet. If she would have been honest with the first guy OR the guy with the glasses, then this all this could have been avoided, too. He wouldn't take it personal, cause her rejection wasn't about him, but because of her past expiriences. The girl did go to the guy with the glasses wanting to be consoled. Cause she felt put off and missunderstood too from the first guy (which she clearly liked). She was hurt, yes. But the other guy, too. And what she needed, or specifically, what BOTH would have needed, was not someone to take her side and her place in this battle/conflict. But someone who wanted to SOLVE the conflict. Someone unbaised, who takes the time to talk to BOTH parties first, asking how BOTH feel and why, before coming to a conclusion and taking action. But what the guy with the glasses did, was not moderating, but add fuel to the flame. By not staying unbaised and taking her side. And therefore upsetting the other guy even more, cause he felt even more unseen, then before. So even though he might meant well, he did more harm then good in the end. A good advice would have been, to wait till tomorrow until the emotions are mostly subsided. So everyone would have had time to think more clearly. Also telling her and himself to take the other guys perspektive. Maybe by roleplaying, or if they can't figure it out themselves aksing the guy why he did react, the way they did. In a friendly and caring way. I'm sure if the guy would have felt heard and understood, instead of attacked, I'm sure he would have opened up about his feelings. So. Now the big exposure! Who was the real culprit? Well. The first guy and the girl, did mistakes. But ist it really their fault this all happened? Cause, lets be honest, everyone has a difficult time opening up about their feelings and about the things they are most sensitive with. Even more so If you once got hurt. The first guy and the girl both got/get bullied, mistreated, humilated, excluded, maybe even molested from their environment multiple times. This did leave invisible scars upon both of their souls. So it's no wonder they are more careful with opening up or even have problems talking about their feelings to other people. Constant bullying also makes you more sensitiv to rejection (First Guy) and other peoples opinion (Girl). Also can you blame the guy with the glasses, not knowing how to moderate properly, If no one thaught him how to do so in the first place? So who's the real culprit here? If it isn't one of those three, then it must be their bullys fault, right? But nope. Iiiiiits..... (drum roll) THE PRINCIPALS FAULT! Yes you read right. It's the principals fault. Why? Cause as an responsible and educated adult, it should be her task to prevent such things like bullying from even happening! Though proper educating! But is that what she did? No. What she did was putting the blame on those three. While the real culprids are still outthere bullying others and fucking them up to. Even Adolf Hitler (and yes he was a sick big asshole, but here we need to give him credit) knew, that a solid basis for a new mindset and therefore a chance in behaivor, is only possible, by changing opinions and views that are not yet established, and therefore malleable. And who is more malleable then children? And yes this sounds like brainwashing, and yes, in a way it is. The only trick is to set them up for healty behaivor. Children mimic and learn from the behaivor of their environment. What we teach and how we behaive has a big influence on our children and also how they see the world and behaive in the future. This is no new concept. But still. No one has done it yet when it comes to teaching healty communication skills, educating about mental health, preventing ostracism etc. Even though we have all the knowledge and the possibilities we need to do so. But we still do nothing to prevent such things from happening. And isn't that kind of pathetic? If we want Fairytales to become a real thing, we have to face reality first, stop blaming others, and instead taking responsiblity, as well as initiative! And I mean EVERYONE. Cause good fairies are rare. And Happy Endings don't come out of thin air. And because EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US CAN DO SOMETHING! No matter how small and insignificant it may seem. For someone other it can still mean the world. So we should stop only dreaming about Happy Endings, but finally doing something to make them happen!

It’s not about “punishment” it’s about listening and communicating. When people resort to yelling and name-calling, it only results in people getting defensive and more people getting hurt. Teenagers are still socially inexperienced and don’t always make the best decisions in social situations. That’s why counselors listen to each side of the situation and help them find their own solution rather than dishing out punishment.

If I was around where you lived, I would have punished the aggressors. I would not care if it was legal under corrupt human law, as corrupt human law failed you, but Divine Law WILL be enforced when corrupt human law fails. There was a sheriff that literally went full beat-em-up/brawler on some criminal scum in the county where I was born in real life, but I would have went further than he did, and also not bowed to corruption. Coincidentally, one of Frank Sinatra's pals also financed the first three biographical movies about the guy before he died.

@@juliav.mcclelland2415I’m very sorry you felt like you were dealt an injustice. I have plenty stories about bullying that are similar. I will say, as someone that now works in the public school system and is constantly going to bat for students that are bullies and harassed, unless the issue is clear and obvious, like SA or hazing, there is no clear person to punish. Sadly, many parents will take any opportunity to sue the school, even if their child was the aggressor. It’s very challenging to deal with more nuanced situations like the one in the video. We shouldn’t look to punish all the time, but to reform and transform those that have wronged us.

I wish these were around when I was younger. These are conversations that need to happen between people, so many problems could be avoided if people took the time to just talk it out. I'm glad these are around for people to learn from so they could see how they can better themselves.
@jasminschmalzl9734
@jasminschmalzl9734 9 ай бұрын
I don't think the real problem is that they don't want to talk it out. But mostly that there isn't someone to moderate. First there needs to be an unbaised environment. If your environment/counterpart is not (which is something you feel through voice, mimic, posture and apperance) then you will automaticaly feel unheard, If not even insulted/attacked. So what we really need is honesty, respect and the will to understand each other. If eighter of those things is missing, then chances are high things stay unspoken, and conflicts remain. People need an environment were they feel their perspectives and feelings are recognized and respected. A place where they feel seen, heard and SAVE to speak. If you permanently have the feeling that the other side only wants to bulldoze his perspective on you, without taking your fewpoints and feelings into consideration, then eventually you wil shut down. And then you either bulldoze back, or you leave (fight or flight response). Which is exaxtly the situation I had with my mother, almost every single time. And after time, and because I was not seen and heard, I did take over this unhealty habit of her's, when to stresses and/or getting in a confrontation with others. And it did get to a point were I can't control it anymore when agitated. I can handle conflicts when I feel save. Which means heard and respected and were people are willing to work WITH me instead of just expecting me to go along with everything they want and do. Which means finding solutions for us both, not only for them. If not I feel pressured if not even harrased, because of all the previous trauma and therefore can't keep calm and think straight. Talking it out is key, yes. But the save invironment needs to be there first. Cause just a key without a keyhole is useless.

It’s never that easy in real life. For many guys, a girl saying “no” to them it means they actually want it but in a more forced way. It’s what media and the online world has taught them to do. No means yes… kind of thing. Which is wrong. Or how men also know that a girl saying it’s, Fine means, I’m not fine. And also another thing that’s wrong to think of. Even if it’s true for some mentally ill. Definitely not for everyone. So guys have these thoughts in their head that this is what they want. Reality is never like that. It takes years of listening and understanding and learning and unlearning of bad behaviors and thoughts for guys and girls alike. It’s more complicated than one simple therapy. But it’s a start in the correct direction. this series would be great to show kids that are in middle school and maybe high school.. although most high schoolers would roll their eyes to a show like this. Lol Not all people think this way. the many that do need to unlearn those thoughts about women. about how lonely they are and have thoughts about wanting to harm girls for not saying yes to their advances. It’s a battle I feel won’t stop for both men and women when it comes to dating. Now that women have a choice and are able to say no. It’s going to be an uphill battle of respect and listening and learning and unlearning all in one. I feel it’s going to be a decade before this happens, because the online world has set us back in a way like never before with bad influencers. But I could be wrong here.

First there needs to be a healty, save and understanding environment for others to speak their minds and leaving their feelings out in the open. And since I was little such an environment WASN'T there. And I'm just DONE with it! Everytime I was in a situation (and there were a lot) I had to go to the other side "explain" my situation. Making myself vulnerable to get the help and the understanding I needed. And even then the "help" and "understanding" was only for the "polished surface". Cause neighter had they patience, nor did they accommodate with my needs and bundaries. NEVER did they come to me asking ME, why I did react this way, how my perspective is, how I see things or feel about it, asking themselves, what would be THE BEST for ME. And certainty NEVER, if I am ok with the things they do. Not my mother, not my father, not my friends, not my colleagues, not my employes. It was all about what THEY wanted and I just got the blame and was told I had to stop/ to adjust. And I'm SO DONE with it! Cause this isn't right! And neigther is it fair! And NO. Asking someone "What is wrong with you?" in a voice, with a face and with a demeanor, which clearly says "I don't care about you, you are the problem and therefore it's your fault." Is definitelly NOT a health, save and understanding way to identify problems and resolve conflicts! If I could I would send this video and text to everyone who I (once) knew and tell them: THIS IS EXAXTLY WHAT YOU DID WRONG Our society needs to learn that everythink comes with a price and that good things don't come out of noting! If you want good things to happen, you have to do something good first. It's as simple as that.

they need to show this to students but the schools are so sensitive and think its "inappropriate". they need to know some kids are hiding their dark stories art home in their fake smiles. they need to show this! I hope schools realize that they don't really care but they do care a bit because of the hotlines, but I mean, it's just a hotline. not gonna help, so they need to show this realistic story, not because of the kissing scenes smh

I had been going to a single young adults group. It's from the church I follow. I started dating one of the guys. We are all in our 20s we aren't kids but they all act like kids. I felt like the girl in this video. All the people in the group knew how I felt, but they instead of helping me they only excluded me. And they hanged out with the guy I dated. Although they took my side they made me feel I shouldn't be in the group. And they are right I need good people who stand up with me, like in this video.

Wait, so a guy kisses a girl, she tells him hes not ready, he feels bad and makes her feel bad as a result. The girl goes to her friend, who tries to talk to the guy but ends up getting pushed in a pool in front of his peers. And the solution is to tell all three kids to listen to each other? No freaking way. The guy may have felt terrible about the 'rejection', but he reacted terribly to not just the girl, but to their friend. Hes; the one who needs to learn to listen. And ifschools cant caml, gently, and respectfully teach THE PERSON WHO DID WRONG about consent and boundaries and proper behavior withoout putting the blame on the victims, what are we even doing??? the fact that all three kids got pulled into the office is awful.

I think you are missing the point a little bit. For sure only the boyfriend needs to be punished and they could have resolved it in that way, but what the councilor was trying to do was to repair the friendship that the 3 of them had before hand. Also, nobody here is being punished (which I think is a little lax on the perpetrator) they are in the councilors office, which in most schools is a place where students talk through their problems rather than the principal's office where they are punished for them.

I really enjoy this channels content and surprised but not surprised it got more notoriety. This whole situation though feels cringe, ive never seen a councilor pull a group of people for something that happened outside of school. To be more precise, not kissing is what and a third person involved also feels so strange.

I never had highschool relationships because this. I feel like learning from others in their relationships before i start and then as an adult I'll be more mature mental and logically to know what to do in a relationship. My mom told me that be friends with them until the time is ready. Because friendships lasts longer than relationships she told me. I hope this helps someone!

He took my 40 question physics assignment and wrote his name on it. When I told the the teacher about it he hated me for the rest of my life. He give me death stares. He just didn't forgive me??? He also avoided me. And when I tried to talk he just gets angry again
