Great word Brother Curry! I teach that the initial sign and evidence of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit IS speaking in tongues. But I teach they, THEY (people) speak in tongues AS the SPIRIT gives the utterance. I do help push people by faith to begin to speak and rely of the Holy Spirit to give utterance which is sign the infilling has taken place. Because Holy Spirit doesn't take us over, but we do yield to Him. My emphasis was receiving tongues as the prayer language. You helped me by realizing that the emphasis is for POWER. So we receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit for Power and yes we also speak in tongues because it's a sign. But by faith we believe that IF we have received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit we DO have power. That has helped me believe that I have power that I release of course by faith as I minister. Dearest Mr. Blake, do you think that being sprinkled with water by a pastor means that you are not saved? I believe that I have the Holy Spirit (speaking in tongues. Mr. A. Wommak stated (respectfully) only being sprinkled with water is not a baptism, therefore not saved. Please clarify. Blessings.😇❤🙏
