It is for example flying a turn so that you as the pilot can always see if you're in the right angle to the ground. Flying a perfect turn you have an 90° angle air/ground. Sorry for my bad english but i hope i could answer your question!

So so that the pilot can have a visual aid of his angle in relation to the horizon when he pulls up or dives, 45 degree and 90 degree angles.

How do you actually follow the path of aerobatic flying? Genuinely interested as I'm an aspiring airline pilot but I think it would be awesome to do airshow stuff too. I know it's a wild dream but ya know gotta live for something ay.
