After watching this video, I've realized that I don't really want marriage, I just want the will of God to be done in my life.

This revelation just came to me. If I cannot die to myself, pick up my cross, and follow after Jesus in my singleness. Then, why am I praying to be married if I have to die to myself, following the leading of my husband who is actually following God??? If I cannot die and submit now to God, then how can I die later and submit to my husband. Heart check moment for me. 🤯

I was literally crying in the car because I feel like God doesn’t have a husband for me. He said read Proverbs 14, I couldn’t make sense of it but I meditated on it for a few mins and then I came on KZfaq and I saw the first Redefine video which was about relationships and the scripture in the video was proverbs 14 and pastor Flowers broke it down for me and every video following that including this one has been speaking to me and this is what God is saying to me: stop viewing your singleness as a prison, God is still detoxing old habits, old addictions, work on my own red flags. God is always speaking to me and I’m so happy I’m at a place where I’m listening because He has been giving me soooo much comfort in my times of sadness and frustration. God bless you Pastor Flowers

So the greater question beyond, Are you sure you want to get married is, Are you willing and ready to die? The same way we must die DAILY, and take up our CROSS, to follow Christ, would be the same principles that MUST be exercised by BOTH parties in the marriage union. I loved this, this was SO good! I stayed in a relationship that I knew I wasn't supposed to be in for about 15 years. I was re birthed after the birth of our daughter. Tha's right -- I'm single, I'm not sick. I'm not broken, it doesn't need to be "fixed" (thank you my girls, but ya'll don't need to help me out and get me fixed up with a man lol!) I have tremendous opportunity to run after my purpose in this time, and once I realized that - oh wow! Actually had a guy - I mean, he came at me like I was water to a man in the desert, 8 pack, "Fear God" tattoo, "Christian," educated, wealth the whole package on paper... - but the minute I told him "Listen, I'm single, I'm not sick - I am running after my purpose - I'm not giving away my purity any more, so let's real talk here... what are you doing with your singleness? What mission are you on, where is God in your daily priority? etc" Oh man did he try to tear me down, like "Well, I mean, your standards are way too high, no man is gonna even to try for that, they'll just give up and leave." To which I was like, "I didn't use to have standards, but the kind of men that would be the type of man I'm looking for --THOSE men & their incredible wives - are the ones that loved me enough to teach me how to have standards and boundaries. This party of peace and purpose is invitation only, and you don't have the capital to have a seat at this table, I'm sorry. You can see yourself out, byyyye." Ladies, ya'll don't have to settle for that nonsense. Run your race, and eventually the man running his race will end up in your lane. Stay encouraged ya'll - it's hard, but soooo worth it compared to the stress of having a "status" with someone that wasn't feeding my purpose, or worse was murdering my peace.

I am always trying to discern this in every relationship in my life. - So I definitely am not looking at All for a relationship. However I love your services because they are applicable to all things relational. I am learning and trying to grow in the area of friendships. I am mostly an introvert but I am surrounded with people who are trying to do friendship with me, and I don’t want to get distracted. I have done friendships that turned into distractions. Now I am on purpose and staying focused at All cost. - Definitely need to click spiritually even in friendships. All of your points are applicable for friendships!

I think it applies to marriages too. A lot of people including myself find themselves in a lust driven, sinful, miserable and abusive marriage and God rescued me from that marriage. All marriages are not ordained by God and God won't fix it either, he will fix the person open to him but that's it. It comes down to openness.

As a 23 year old young guy some days i have a burning passion to love a wife one day but at the same time I already feel complete and don't really really need a woman so I'm not looking for marriage right now because i dont want to be a sometimes husband. Because now I'm goal focused friends family hobbies I spend time with. And im very active and my previous girlfriend broke up with me because i spent more time doing what I love to do. I only saw her Saturday and Sunday (the weekend) monday - Friday are my days to focus on going to work completing my online college courses hitting the gym and enjoying hobbies all week and I never had the neediness because I guess some of us are wired a little differently I dont feel the need to be approved by girls my age I'm content alone. I want a wife but not now because I don't want to be sometimes

When Tanisha said she's a product of divorce I cried. My parents separated too. And though I've already accepted it, I don't know but it doesn't feel good when your family is incomplete. I am not a little girl when they separated, I was in my early 20s when it happened and I didn't expect to be affected much by it. It made me focus more on my bf that time. That relationship was not really good for me but I stayed even though I knew it was like a heavy burden to carry. My scarcity mentality told me that he was the most decent guy I could ever meet. Fast forward today, I'm single, but the scales were finally removed from my eyes and he isn't that good. There are soooo many good men out there. The problem is I don't know what my kingdom assignment is yet. I don't know who I am. I'm in this process of recreating myself. Pulling myself out of the ruins my past caused.

Thank you Flowers family for being on fire for God and remaining in purpose. Redefined tv has been a blessing for my life since I found it and every episode of this Try Me series has been a learning for me. I’m binge watching to catch up, as I don’t want to miss a single episode. This episode was so good!! It made me realize I want marriage but I’m not ready for it. I haven’t died to myself yet, and Gods changing me and maturing me in this season. God is good y’all. 🙏🏻

This is so needed this is why divorce rates in the church community are as high as the world, why because marriage is not talked about from a biblical standpoint. I never understood why is there so many ministries towards marriage and not singleness, because people think something is wrong with you if you are single or you too immature to be married. Instead of being a whole person by yourself.

Both marriages and relationships require work and sometimes a lot of OT, but we have to go in knowing that it's worth the work.
