It sure is a vicious cycle. After 3 consecutive burnouts, I took 2 and a half years to rebuild my health. Now I am in a better place and have started to exercise again. However, I burnt all my savings to get healthy again and now I can't afford healthy food so I will just eat whatever I find. I am trying to get back into the workforce but it looks like I will have to trade my health and most of my time again to have money. Then I might no more have time to exercise or prepare healthy food for myself. I am really afraid to go into five more years of this rollercoaster. I think lack of work life balance is a big issue here. I am all into working hard but if I end up in the hospital then something is wrong. Capitalism is great but as with all good things, too much of it is toxic.

I live in a small town...my village is 25 km away.... I can surely say that villagers are happier and healthier than people of town..and the most importantly villagers are clear minded....may be they are less educated but they are connected with nature..and it's a vital part of healthy living

Probably because of how self sufficient most villagers are. I'm from a village....we raise chickens, cows and they give us milk, eggs which are used almost daily. The chicken, cow droppings are either used as fertilizer or dried and burnt as cooking fuel. Even the egg shells, kitchen scraps are eaten by chickens as food, wood ash is used in fertilizer pits. We grow several coconut trees which give us so many things its literally insane. Things which i grew up in abundance like coconuts, full fat dairy and orange eggs are a expensive commodity in most cities.

Here few tips for better health❗Walk around more, climb stairs instead of elevator, stand around office for every few mins per hour and you won't require Gym. In office try taking 5 mins per hour mental break to close your eyes and meditate on nature eg waterfalls beaches or rainforest. Eat balanced 3 meals with Veg, Non Veg, fruits and diary produce. Drink daily 2/3 litres water or more if it's humid day and sweating more. Get minimum 8 hour's sleep, try sleeping early and stop social media on mobile laptop etc, and try listening to audio like soft relaxing musical or stories. Stay safe and healthy. ☝️😊

@@aditisoumya316 School-age children and teens need about 9.5 hours of sleep each night. Most adults require 7-9 hours of sleep at night. Experts recommend that adults sleep between 7 and 9 hours a night. Adults who sleep less than 7 hours a night may have more health issues than those who sleep 7 or more hours a night. Researchers at the University of California, San Francisco, discovered that some people have a gene that enables them to function well on six hours of sleep a night. This gene, however, is very rare, appearing in less than 3% of the population. For the other 97% of us, six hours doesn't come close to cutting it. ☝️😊

Right now, I am enjoying a tour with my family in Uttarakhand, the hilly (Himalayan) state in India. Here, you hardly find any fat or obese people. They are fit and active to make their livelihood. For every activity they have to climb on the hilly terrain. Air and water are very clean and unpolluted. Veggies and fruits are mostly organic. Above all, they are all simple and contented. All the above factors play a great role in overall health and longevity. Others should learn from them. People must keep watching such motivstional and informative videos (which are in plenty in KZfaq) to get motivated and change their lifestyles instead of wasting their time in toxic social media and TV channels.

We are living in an information age hence we are constantly on our phone consuming information of all kinds and rest of the day we spend our minds processing that information due to which our mind becomes tired and if your mind is tired we become incapable of exercising or doing anything physical ! .... So the problem here is mental tiredness and lack of mental motivation ! .... Mental tiredness is making us lathargic .... I have personally have experienced this and on the basis of that I am saying it ! .... I have taken ways to eliminate it from life because I now understand what we are dealing with here ! .... 🙂 ....

Before joining the FedEx delivery 🚚 team I too have been very reluctant to eat less, exercise and sleep early. All of the above instantly turned upside down as soon as I had to do my job on-time. First it was extremely hard and shocked & I even asked for a resignation due to the magnitude of the courier service I had to provide for FedEx courier service. I have very limited to no time to eat (this obligated to discontinue my huge meals) Had to drink plenty of water during official hours. Run and use steps up-down (without elevator)even 10 floors sometimes with race against time. Had to walk 10k steps within 6-7hours. Follow the proper order of Google maps which I have to be very focused, flexible and no time to rest. And today just after a year I managed to lose 12kg and now I look more younger, stiff muscle 💪 sleep well. I can't even realize how I did this.... it's just crazy 🤣🤣🤣 Thanks for the job for giving me income and saves a lot of money 🤑 on gym, health classes craziness.

There's a fine line between exhaustion and laziness. Some have even gone as far as naming all types of exhaustion. Some national cultures like the one in the US works its populations to death. Leaving workers only time to eat, and sleep Even the Cops are working 12 hour shifts. Cops are so stressed here we are surprised no one is getting pistol whipped, but that is preferable to ending up dead which is often the case.

It's definitely not an excuse. I also work out everyday for an hr. But I have noticed that on the days my job work load is less, i am more motivated to eat healthy, not smoke or drink. On the days I work 14+ hrs, my body craves unhealthy food, cigarettes and alcohol just to feel a little better after a long hard day. I try my best to not give into it as these long hard days are more frequent than not. But I totally understand. High stress and fatigue leads to a drop in motivation to stick to health habits. There's science behind it. The body craves cheap dopamine fix to deal with 16hrs of mentally exhausting work

Here is the first and last thing you need to do now. Just unfollow everyone that you want to be like, unfollow dieting videos, body building influencers, and everyone you feel like you want to do this. Everyone seems to now know EVERYTHING they need to know to do something, all they now need to do is let go of their watching habits, and just stop thinking about everything good. Just start living where you are, with what you have and stop watching your phone! Simple but will be hard just like quitting any addiction. Just for someone who understand they need to get out, and wanna know how, a few steps- Question yourself before opening the video. Think and comprehend about the thumbnail and the title of the video. Is this you want to watch? Logical answer will be no, and then just don't do open it.

I thought gyms would be the answer, but there's a lot of animosity between men and women in gyms. You almost need a mask to cover your face when you workout. Look in any woman's general direction and you'll get nasty looks. Dudes do it too sometimes, because no one knows who's gay and who's not. Some people almost end up fighting in locker rooms. You're waiting for a guy to get his naked self out of the way, and he gets frustrated and fearful you may be checking him out. No dude, your butt naked in front of my locker. What do you want me to do??? 🤣

Nah, no one can stay motivated all the time. You need healthy habits and a routine so willpower isn't necessary. At some point muscle memory just takes over. The more common the routine the less your mind has to think and you save energy. Much like when you get tunnel vision while driving long term.

It's not so easy. While a vegan burger is healthier it has significantly less protein. You could easily end up with a protein deficiency by going vegan. Which leads you to a fatty liver that you can't detect without a doctor. You might not be able to afford organic food also so now your risk of cancer goes up because the food you ate was genetically modified to kill bugs that try to eat it. GMO food is literally like eating aspirin every day.
